My mum used to buy me sweets to sit quietly to watch the Saturday afternoon movie. I used to beleive that advertisements were put out offering people lots of money to be shot on film. I thought they were paid up front, spent the money ,then died. How weird was I!!!

When i was little, i used to think that the bad guys really died in the movies. But in order not to kill a good person, they used people in prison to play the bad people.

When i was little i thought that when people in movies died they really did, so i thought they would just wait until they found out they had cancer or something before they would take a part where they would die and the movie company would pay their families lots of money to it, i was really confused when i saw the same guy die in two seperate chuck noris movies

As a child I believed that if a character died in a film so did the actor playing them, though I knew that they were only actors. I asked my dad why film makers didn't just use criminals to play baddies as it wouldn't matter so much when they died. He was totally bemused. I just though it was part of the job if you were unlucky enough to get the role of a baddy.

I used to believe that everybody who died on screen died in real life. I figured that for these roles they used people who were terminally ill anyway. It never ever occured to me that people could act death.

When I was I kid, I wondered how they managed to show so many people get kill in the movies. I had heard that some people committed suicide, putting an end to their lives privately. Quite sensibly, as an imaginative child, I used to believe that film makers would set out to the goomier parts of the city to set up a stand or roam with big signs recruiting suicidal individuals to participate in their upcoming movie, so that they may be killed before the camera during a scene and to the great enjoyment of future movie audiences.

I used to believe that when people died or were killed in the movies that they died in real life. And therefore I concluded that all actors who died in movies must have received a death sentence.

When I was younger, I used to believe when you got killed in a movie.. you really were killed. So the movie stars hired stunt poeple to die for them.

I used to think that the peolple who dies in the movies, in westerns for instance, was people that wanted to commit suicide and the money they earned as actors was paid to the family

I used to believe that the movies were real and that people who died in those movies actually died. Which is why I thought actors were very highly paid.

One day my sister and I were watching a movie with my aunt where an entire singing group died. I think it was that same day or soon after where we saw the group perform live at a concert. I started freaking out because in my mind they had all died and I believed that their ghosts were performing. It took my aunt a while to get me to believe the whole actor/fake death explanation.

I used to think actors in movies sometimes had to actually die to make the movies look real.

When I was little I used to watch old western movies with my grandpa. There was alot of shooting involved and in the movie the actor dies. But when I was little I didn't know it was all fake. I thought people that just wanted to die figured hey, might as well come out in a movie and be famous.

When I was about 4 or 5, I used to think that when people were killed in movies that the actors really died. I thought that real-life people who just didn't want to live anymore volunteered to play the parts in movies where people were killed. I just couldn't figure out that it was "pretend blood" or a "fake gun."
