When I was around five I walked up to my mother and asked her why some cows were white and why some cows were brown. She simply told me that white cows give white milk and brown cows give chocolate milk.I believed it for 6 years!!

We all know that most parents tell their kids that Chocolate milk comes from brown cows and white milk from white cows. Well, I wanted to know about Strawberry and my father told me that strawberry came from people! I was confused and he told me their was a group of people out there who dressed up like pink cows and that's where we got strawberry milk from! And, yes, I believed him and always watched the news, looking for the elusive 'strawberry people'. Man, I am gulliable.

My father and uncles were quite the pranksters and they had my sister and I believing that brown cows give chocolate milk until I was 10yrs. Our own children fall for that joke even now. Guillable genes?

This is not one of my beliefs, but I found it amusing to see how many kids beleived that chocolat milk came from "brown" cows because someone older told them so as a joke. My younger sister did the same thing to my kids when they were very young. She wasn't very much older than they were at the time and told them after watching a chocolate milk commercial that chocolate milk came from chocolate cows. It took me quite a long time to convince them otherwise.

When I was very young, I used to think that regular milk came from white cows and chocolate milk came from brown cows. Needless to say, I was extremely perplexed by black cows and spotted cows.

my grandfather always told me that white cows give milk, brown cows gave chocolate milk and black cows give ink. I was totally puzzled when I saw fields of brown and white or black and white cows. I never did figure out what they gave.

My Dad told me that Chocolate Milk came from brown cows. I believed him. I didn't learn the truth until my hubby (#2) & I were travelling & came upon some brown cows & I told our daughter that was where chocolate milk came from!... The subject of where chocolate came from just had never come up all those years! Geeez!!!
