When I was little I used to believe that chocolate milk came from brown cows. I was so sure of this that I brought it up as a fact during a 1st grade trip to a farm.

This is not one of my beliefs, but I found it amusing to see how many kids beleived that chocolat milk came from "brown" cows because someone older told them so as a joke. My younger sister did the same thing to my kids when they were very young. She wasn't very much older than they were at the time and told them after watching a chocolate milk commercial that chocolate milk came from chocolate cows. It took me quite a long time to convince them otherwise.

My Grandmother told me that chocolate milk and chocolate ice cream came from black cows, regular milk and vanilla ice cream came from white cows, and black and white cows were responsible for chocolate/vanilla swirl ice cream....it used to really bother me that she couldn't tell me which cows produced strawberry ice cream! I still don't know that one!!!!! :)

When I was very young, I used to think that regular milk came from white cows and chocolate milk came from brown cows. Needless to say, I was extremely perplexed by black cows and spotted cows.

my grandfather always told me that white cows give milk, brown cows gave chocolate milk and black cows give ink. I was totally puzzled when I saw fields of brown and white or black and white cows. I never did figure out what they gave.

My Dad told me that Chocolate Milk came from brown cows. I believed him. I didn't learn the truth until my hubby (#2) & I were travelling & came upon some brown cows & I told our daughter that was where chocolate milk came from!... The subject of where chocolate came from just had never come up all those years! Geeez!!!

When I was 5 or 6, I thoght that Brown Swiss cows gave chocolate milk

When I was 4, I got a splinter whch wouldn't come out. Another child told me that it would go into my body and travel around inside for five years, until it reached my heart, and stabbed it and I would die. I worried aboutthis until I was 9!

When I was very small my mom's best friend worked in a restaurant with chocolate milk that came from a special chocolate cow that lived in the basement. Unfortunately for me it was always asleep when we went to visit so I never got to see it!
