When I was young I loved eating oranges. I was always very careful with the seeds because I believed that if I were to swallow one an orange tree would start growing in my stomach.

When i was younger i thought that if you swallowed a seed, a fruit tree of the same type of fruit would grow inside my stomach, eg if i ate an apple seed, an apple tree would grow. It would then pop out of my mouth. I never figured it was wrong, even when nothing came out of my mouth...

When I was small, I would eat mud sometimes(ughh!!). On one such day I swallowed a seed of some fruit by mistake and drank water. My mother said that now a tree would grow out of mouth!!! and I really believed her for that for quite sometime.

once, when i was about 6, i was eating an apple and accidently ate the pip. i told my friend and she said that the other day, her dad ate the apple pip, and an apple tree started growing out of his bum. i was so scared, and made sure i never ate the pip. next time i went to her house, i tried to find the tree coming out his bum, she said he had to cut it regularly.
