When I was little, my older (and cruel) sister told me that the story line for the episode of Rugrats in which Chuckie eats a watermelon seed and a watermelon grows in his tummy was actually possible.

I still refuse to swallow seeds for fear that I might have a tree grow out of my ass.

when i was young around 5 or so i loved grapes sooo much until one day my aunts and uncles decided to scare me... they told me if i swallowed the seed a tree would grow out of my head... i believed it until i was 10 when i wondered how on earth can a persons head stand the weight of a tree??

When i was younger i thought that if you swallowed a seed, a fruit tree of the same type of fruit would grow inside my stomach, eg if i ate an apple seed, an apple tree would grow. It would then pop out of my mouth. I never figured it was wrong, even when nothing came out of my mouth...

as small kids we were encouraged to eat lots of fruits(which holds good even today).once i was eating a guavaan dmy mother comes and tells me not to eat the seeds and only to eat the rind!!.don't you eat the the seeds,otherwise a tree would grow from your stomach and come out through your mouth!!!.

When I was eating any fruit, I was told by my parents I should never swallow the seeds or a tree would grow inside me and the branches would come out of my ears.

Then I found out that the appendix might get blocked by ingesting seeds and other hard to digest things.

i used to believe dat by swallowing fruit seeds ..it wud grow into a tree wid fruits in ma tummy n will hang out of ma mouth while still having its roots in ma tummy n i wud look like a monster...hehehe!!!

When I was little I believed that if you ate any type of seed that a real plant would grow in my stomach and eventually kill me. I never ate seeds until I was in middle school.
