My parents used to tell me that if you ate the black seeds from watermelon you would turn into a big black dog.
My sister told my niece and I when we were little that if we ate the big black watermelon seeds, we would grow a watermelon in our stomach! I believed her for along time!

When I was 4 my 5 year old brother told me if I swallowed a watermelon seed and then ate some

So natually I did it. I looked at my belly and could've
swore that it was growing. I got scared and told my

When me and my cousin were little we had a problem with eating watermelon, because we ate the seeds too. So one day at a family get together, they decided to tell us that if we ate the seeds that watermellons would grow in our belly's. My cousin still to this day (were 19) won't eat watermelon seeds.
When I was little I believed that if you ate the white part of the watermelon rind you would die. I have no idea where that came from.
My grandpa has a really big stomach, and when i was little he told me and my sister that if you swallowed watermelon seeds that one would grow in your tummy. Then he'd say that it's too big to be pooped out and it would stay in there for the rest of your life. After that, he used to pretend to swallow the seeds (but we believed him) and that's why we thought his stomach was so big.
When I was younger, my older sis told me not to eat thore little black seeds in my watermelons. I did it and told her. She said, "Uh oh, now your skin is going to fall off, and your going to grow woatermelon gardens in your tummy." I believed her, and got really mad. To this day we laugh at it.

When I was a little girl, whenever I ate a watermelon I was always told by my cousin not to swallow the black seeds because it would grow into a baby in my stomach. So, for the longest time I believed this and spit every seed out diligently for fear of getting a big belly and having a baby.
