When I was about 4 or 5, I used to think that when you drinked Coke that you had to spin around 5 times and yell "I LOVE COKE!!" really loud or the Coke monster will come when you sletp, and eat you up like a BIG cookie, then i asked my parents, my sister, and my friends. They all laughed at me like I was a crazy child! They always asked me if I was dropped on the head when I was a baby and I proudly said "YES"

This is a bit long, so just hang in there :)
When I was little, my family moved around a lot, so I went to about 5 different elementary schools. In second grade, there was this huge drain tunnel that went into a hill beside the playground.
This thing had to have been at least 3 feet in diameter. Big enough for little 2nd graders to get into. My friends knew that I moved around a lot, so we were all convinced that I would move again after that year was over (which I did, but anyways).
We were also convinced that, when I left, I would leave via the drain pipe on the playground. I would just walk in there, and keep walking unitl I got to the other side (wherever that was). Apparently, my being shorter than my classmates (by a good foot) meant that I traveled differently than everyone else...
So, the entire last week of school, my friends would throw rocks and sticks in there to make sure there were no snakes. Then they all threw in some of their favorite toys, and I would save my lunch every day and throw it in. This was so that I could have something to remember them by, and I would have plenty of food for my trip.
The night before the last day, I double-checked with my mom about the plan for me to go through the tunnel. I asked her if she would meet me on the other side, and she looked at me like I was crazy.
I spent all of recess that next day getting everyone's stuff out of the drain pipe.

When i was like 8 i used to think that gay just ment you liked boys so i would go around the school saying im soooo gay!!!then one day i was in a chatroom on owensworld and i said hey,im gay anyone want to chat? then everyone got off the chatroom.exept one person.it was my mom!!! she told me what it ment.i know better now.

Until I was around 10 years old, I believed that I was the smartest person in the world, and that that was because I could think about things before I did/said them. I thought everyone else just opened their mouths and words came out all on their own, but I could control what came out of mine. Ummm... don't think so...

I thought that people were little dolls and we'd play when the "big" people were asleep and when we were asleep the "big"people would play with us. I told my mom this and she thought the same thing too!!

Until I was about 11, I used to believe the earth was in a teeny little bubble, and was in a museam, where all the regular-sized people would come and watch us... needless to say, I tried my hardest not to misbehave...

I used to believe that all of the 'mind-readers' in the world were reading every one of my thought. I tried to catch them off guard by thinking 'I know you're listening!' and then looking around to see if anybody around me looked surprised.

When I was about 5 and my cousin was about 3, I thought in 3 years she would catch up with me, and she would be older than me. That thought made me scared and confused for a while.

When I was about seven or eight, my friend convinced me that she was Hermione Granger and I was Ginny Weasley. She told me I was actually twelve and my missing brothers did exist, they just hid when I looked at them ... she even wrote me a Hogwarts letter.
I still half-believed this at the age of eleven when I wrote a letter to Professor McGonagall asking if I could go to Hogwarts ...
When i was about 6 years old i was sitting in my moms car. She took a long time to come out of the house so i read the side view mirrors on her car. For years i thought that "Objects in mirror are closer then they appear" meant that i could finally make mirrors now that i knew what the objects in them were.

I used to believe that everybody (including me) had a magic power and i was the only person who didnt know. i also beleived there was this giant god person who would warn the people i was coming so the could stop usin magic.

When I was younger I used to think, to sound conceited, that everyone was as smart as me and that anyone who acted otherwise was simply putting up a calculated facade, as though they thought that would give them some sort of advantage, or that was simply the sort of person they wanted appear as. I often wondered why some people found their sort of persona appealing, but it turns out most people really don't have a choice.
