I used to think that when you were asleep your toys came alive and had Madonna dance parties. Then when you woke up, they all ran back to perfect order.
I used to think that my "My Buddy" doll would turn into "Chucky" at night and get out of my toy box. I would put stuff on top so he couldn't get out.
as a kid i love watching toy story, i watched it so many time that i eventualy belived that my toys came to life so every five minutes i would pretend i was leaving my room then i would ethier run back into my room yelling "i got ya" or i would get on my hands and knees peeking through the door trying to ,see anything move i have never caught them but i still do it every now and then and im 13!!!!!
When i was about 8 years old I used to think my dolls came to life when i went to sleep. So every night before I went to bed, I would put in the garage.
I used to believe that a magical unicorn lived in the woods behind my subdivision.
I also believed that when no one was around, all of my toy animals would come to life and talk to each other. One day I sat there and told them that I knew that they all talked when I wasn't around and that if they would just admitted it, I wouldn't ever tell anyone.
I used to believe that my Lego came to life at night, thats why it always moved... nothing to do with the fact my sister playing with it -_-
I used to beleive that once asleep my toys would start talking like in Toy Story... I wouldn't dare throw a toy on the floor , I would try to feed them with food and fake my sleep to see if they would start moving etc.
I used to believe that my stuffed animals came to life at night, one night I put them at the bottom of my bed to see if I could catch them at a different position in the morning, when I woke up they had moved, I was super excited, but once i got older I realized that it was just me that moved them by moving the blankets when I was sleeping
When I was a little girl I used to think that when I fell asleep my Barbies would come to life and protect me in the night. I once fell asleep with them on the ground then woke up with them in my arms. I stopped beleiving this whenever I stopped playing with Barbies. I was 9 years old.
Ever since i was a little kid i had a fear of my stuffed animals or dolls that they came to life when i went to bed or left the room. For that, i never tried to be mean to my toys or anyway to hurt them at all. My father/mother would bring home really old toys and they scared me and i would just say that they're so cool just 'incase'...
I used to believe my stuffed animals would wake up the same moment that I fell asleep and that they went out doing things at night while I was sleeping.
When I saw them lying on the floor in front of my bed in the morning, I was sure they just hadn't made it back in time before I woke up.
I used to believe (and kinda still do) that your toys came alive at night. Because I thought this, I would never be mean to my toys or intentionally hurt them. If I ever dropped one I would stop, stroke it and kiss it and apologize for being careless. I thought that if I didn't do this, when the toys came alive at night they would hurt or kill you in your sleep.
When I was younger I was convinced that if I wasn't nice to my toys like my American Girls dolls or stuffed animals then they would come alive at night and attack me.
I used to believe, ( and still do believe) that dolls and stuffed animals come to life when you're not looking. Because I thought this, I'd never be cruel to my toys, for fear that they will attack and hurt me in the middle of the night as payback.
when i was a kid i thought that if i left my stuffed anmials out after i went to bed they would come to life and eat me
p.s. i saw chucky and got the wrong idea
I used to believe my toys came to life when I was asleep.
I used to believe my cabbage patch dolls would be alive at night and go on killing sprees and turn back into dolls like nothing happened by morning time.
since watching "toy story"
i used to belive that my toys would come to life after i went to sleep or left my bedroom i remember pretending to leave the room saying "i'll be back in second" and hiding behing the outside of my bedroom door trying to peek at my bedroom through a tiny tiny hole in my door looking at all my teddies and thinking"why are'nt they moving?" i was so upset.
When I was little and went to sleep at night, I could hear drumming footsteps and bells ringing. I thought it was a group of toy soliders marching off to war under my bed! Eventually I confessed to my mum and it turned out I had tinitus, but I still have to sleep with the light on just in case!
I used to believe that my stuffed animals would come to life at night and i pretended to be sleeping and then opened my eyes really quickly, i would see them moving.
