i used to beleive that my toys came alive when i went asleep

when i was about 3 my mum told me that when i went to sleep or if i was out of my room my toys came alive and played and always believed this until one day when i was about 9 i was talking to my friend about it and they said it wasn't true so i called in my mum and she said my friend was right and she thought i knew that she was joking,i was very upset and anrgy with my mum!

When i was five i used to think we were all dolls living in a HUUUGE doll house (from Thomas the Tank Engine) and that a girl would drive the cars around and move us about from place to place. When I was seven I thought Barbie dolls came to life in the middle of the night and wanted to kill girls that didn'y play with Barbies (from watching the movie Chuckie). And finally when I was 11 I thought that if i jumped and ran very fast and very high i would stay in the air for a few seconds like in the Matrix, I tried it once and I ended up Spraining my ankle really badly... that's what you get form the influence of tv.

I used to think that when I went to sleep my toys would all come to life and play games. One night I wanted to stay up and watch them, but I thought they might realise I was still awake and wouldn't be able to come to life and play, then they'd be cross with me. I went to sleep not wanting to risk it.

when I shared a room with my older sister, she told me if I had to go to sleep early. As my teddies & dolls would come to life at midnight & they would run away if I was still awake. A few years later, to get my younger sister to sleep, I told her the exact story. It worked as she has all her teddies locked away in a cupboard, so they won't run away. Years later she still has them hiding.

I used to believe that when the rest of the family, and I would fall asleep all of my dolls would come to life, and live there lives as we do ours. And when I would wake up in the morning they would all pretend to just be dolls, when in actuallity they were just little people.

I used to believe that when i was asleep all my toys would come out and play. I tried to pretend to be asleep so i could catch them in the act. I aslo though they could feel things so when i dropped them i would have to kiss them better and when i slept with them i had to make sure i didnt roll over them

I used to belive that my dolls played when I was asleep. I would set them out to do things - like a tea party or something - when I went to bed. When I'd get up in the morning they would be where they belonged. Little did I know my mom put them away. I mean, she never put anything else away for me! lol

When I was little I had a black doll called Susie. My friend told me not to sleep with the doll in my room cos it would come alive at night and kill me. My mum was furious when she discovered I had put the doll in the bin (she didn't find out until after the binmen had been round)!

That my babmbi stuffed animal turned alive at night. my mom would leav half eaten carrots and celery and I thought Bambi ate them at night. I kept that belief until age 8.
