When I was little, I used to think that Santa Clause couldn't live forever so I thought that when he died, the Prime Minister or president of every country would all get together and have a meeting to decide who should be the next santa.....
when i was 3 years old my mum told me that father christmas was comming to our house but 1st i had to go to sleep. so when i did i sudenly woke up again.i went downstairs and saw father christmas himself! i used to believe he wasn't real but now i know the truth!
I was 17 years old when I realized that the guy that mommy was kissing in that famous song was actually daddy dressed up as Santa Claus. I just thought mommy was a tramp.
Everyone remembers going to the mall and sitting on Santa's lap to take a picture at Christmas time right?
Well I used to think that if I did that Santa would get mad because he had to go all around the world and let every kid around the world have a chance to take a picture and of course his lap would hurt and he would be so tired. I thought he would keep a copy of the picture and that's how he decided who would be on his naughty list.
Let's just say my mom couldn't get me onto Santa's lap until she made him promise I wouldn't end up on his naughty list.
We're catholics and we don't believe in Santa. I told my 4 yr old cousin that Santa's baby Jesus' mailman. That because he's a newborn He can't carry the huge presents so he sends them with the big fat guy. we live in the Caribbean so it's kinda hard to believe a guy with a sleigh and reindeers can fly without melting from the heat.
I USED TO BELIEVE IN SANTA UNTIL ONE X-MAS I WALKED IN THE LIVING ROOM TO SEE IF SANTA WAS THERE AND CAUGHT MY DAD EATING THE COOKIES AND DRINKING THE MILK
When I was a child Santa Claus was the most wonderful man in the world. As we eight children began to grow up my parents tried everything possible to keep us younger ones believing in him! I went as a first year to a Grammer school still believing and insisted to the other girls that I could prove his existance by bringing in the family 'autograph' book where he had signed his signature the previous christmas!
I believed in santa until I was 8, then I realized all the "Santa" presents were in my parents' shopping bags. They thought I believed till I was 11 XD
During a famly vacation we traveled down the West Coast, my parents told me that Washington was named after a president that died. We ended the trip in California and visited Santa Barbara. I thought this is where Santa's wife had died and he would be mad if I went there.
I use to believe that when I was sleeping at Christmas eve, Santa would come to my house and let some presents. And I stayed all night over waiting him until I could sleep.
I used to believe that Santa was real and really went down the chimney and the whole blah blah blah.
Im so glad it's false.
I used to believe that father christams was real but when i got older i know he was not !!!!!!!!
I woke up early one christmas and was looking outside my window. I thought I saw santa fly across the moon in his sleigh, so I woke my older cousin up and told her, she wasn't too happy.(I think it may have been leaves swaying in the breeze)
My mom came down the stairs to see me planted in a 'Little Tykes' plastic chair in front of a light socket. She asked me about it, and I told her that I was waiting for Santa to come out. I was a little confused.
I pretty much stopped believing in Santa Claus when I was 7 years old and saw my mum delivering the presents. However, I was so worried about telling my parents or big sisters that I didn't believe in Santa Claus because I thought they'd get really angry and stop getting me presents. I kept up the charade until I was 11 when one of my sisters said "you don't still believe in Santa, do you?". Finally, I was forced to reveal the truth. The response? "Oh, thank goodness we can stop pretending!"
When my son was 3 he always talked about Heidi Claw? For YEARS we didn't know what he was saying... then one day we were at my mom's and he said look Heidi Claw... it was a picture of SANTA CLAUS!
when I was 2 I use to think at night if you could hear santa he would open all your gifts and you would be in trouble if you saw santa 2
I am still useing that belief today
and I'm only 8 !
When i was about 5 we had a big family christmas eve and christmas day. there was a satellite passing over so my mother and aunties decided they would help us believe (and try and get us to go to bed earlier i think) by finding some bells and yelling oh my its santa. So up until i was about 12 i believed there was santa flying over and that i saw his sleigh.
-i used to think that if santa found you awake on christmas eve he would muder you by smothering you in toys.
-one christmas, i got a video camera that you could put somewhere and an antenna adaptor you put in the tv would make whatever you were filming show up on tv.
-the next christmas i hid it in the tree skirt and found out that they had been decieving me.
When I was little, I asked my mom where the Easter Bunny got all the plastic eggs with money in them that he hid in our house. She said that she bought the eggs and left them and some money in the middle of the living room floor, and then when everyone was asleep, the Easter Bunny came and put the money in the eggs and hid them. This answer made perfect sense and I accepted it with no problem.
Later on, I wanted to know where Santa Claus got all the brand-name toys he gave us, because I was sure he couldn't make them at his tinkertoy workshop. I remembered what my mom said about the Easter Bunny and came up with the idea that a few weeks before Christmas, the employees of all the big toy stores would leave out huge piles of toys in the middle of the floor, shut off the lights, and either go in the back room or go home. Then when the coast was clear, Santa would sneak in through the store's ventilation system, wrap up all the toys he needed, and take them back outside in his sack. I thought it was very nice of the toy store people to respect Santa's privacy and help make his job easier like that.
