I used to believe people were actually in my radio singing
When I was little I thought that the singers and bands I heard would sit around the radio station waiting for their turn to play their songs. This meant the each radio station had different performers and I worried that this was boring and it was hard to wait all the time and that the performers had to work very long hours.

When i was younger I used to believe that when a song was being played on the radio station, the band was in the radio station playing it live.
I used to believe that the music on the radio was being played live by musicians in the radio studio. No concept of recorded tunes at all.
When I was little, my parents had really good quality speakers in the back of the car. So whenever we rode with the radio on, I thought the band was playing live in the back of our car, and was always baffled when I turned around and couldn't find them.

When I was younger I used to think that the people singing the songs were at the radio station singing them live, so you can just imagine how upset I was that Reba Mcentire was not actually in my small town.

I used to believe, when I was maybe six or seven, that there were little people playing the music you hear inside stereos or radios living in them. They would start playing the music whenever somebody turned it on and just sit around doing nothing until somebody turned on the device.

When I was little I always sat in the backseat of my dad's truck with my head near a speaker. I used to think that there were live beetles inside each speaker playing every song because the only band I had ever heard of was the Beatles.
i used to believe that the music on the radio was really the bands playing at the station that the time however i could not understand how they could travel so fast to get to other cities

When I was little I thought that musicians would play 'live' at the radio station, that all these bands actually lived at the radio station and waited for their turn to play for us.

I actually once thought that all music played on radio was performed by live bands. So when one time the music abruptly stopped and the song changed I thought the first band had been murdered and the second band just quickly came in and started playing.

I used to think that, songs that were played on the radio, were actually played by real bands in the radio station.
I was imagining that the bands were travelling all day from station to station and they were playing songs.
However I was kind of sceptical when I found out that some songs were played at the same time by two different stations.
I figured out that they also had imitating bands that they were dispatching wherever they couldn't make it.

I used to believe that when I listened to songs over the radio it was the artist singing their song to that specific radio station through a pay phone. I thought they must have gotten so tired!

When I was little, listening to country radio with my older sister, the DJ would say things like "And coming up we've got Shania Twain for you" etc etc... so I thought that they had all these rooms with the different bands in them and they switched back and forth when the song changed...
