I used to be scared to go behind the television because I thought the people in the TV were very tiny and acting behind the TV. I thought when the show ended and you changed the channel, they would still be watching. Every...Little...Step!

I used to believe that when you watched the tv, the people on the shows could see you at home through the screen, it took me a while to realise that wasn't the case. Also I used to believe every show was live and nothing was pre-recorded.

When I was about 3 I was watching an M&M commercial and I was pickin' my nose, and then it hit me; if I can see them in the TV, they must be able to see me too, I imediatly stopped "digging for gold" and ran to my mom and asked her" can the people in the TV see me too?" she said no so I nran back to the TV and started picking my nose again! :)
Just so you know I dont pick my nose anymore!

I used to believe the people in the TV could see me, so if i didn't like the show i would say "oh man, you guys stink!" and if i liked it i would say "you guys are awesome!" and my mom never told me they couldn't here me.

I used to think the local newcasters could see me, so my mom would put on the news when she had to do house work, because I behaved myself, in fear that the newspeople would tell on me.

When I was about 3, I thought you could poke someone on the TV's eyes out by putting your finger over them. Plus they would shout 'ow'

When I was little and saw Beauty and the Beast for the first time; and all the household items were laughing at Belle, I thought they were laughing at me through the television screen!

I used to believe that the people who where on tv, could actually see me. At one time I had badly burned my legs on hot water, I was sure that a character on tv could see me. (For the Dutch readers, Meneer de Uil.)

Like many kids, I used to believe that people on the TV could see you. I'd be waving at Blue from Blue's Clues and telling the Power Rangers what to do. And everytime I saw Jim Carrey in the TV, I tried to not laugh, he was my favorite actor and I was afraid that if I'd laugh I'd make him laugh to, ruining his movie.

I used to believe that people on TV could see me in my living room. For example, at the end of the "Ed Sullivan Show," they would bring on all the acts from that night's show, and they would all wave at the camera. I used to wave back because I thought they could see me.

When I was a little boy, I always thought that people on television could see me the same way I could see them. So whenever I would be running around the living room in my scooby doo underwear and my mom would turn on The Price is Right (or some other oddly related show) I would run off and put some clothes on. I just remembered this as I was reading thru some of the other "beliefs", so I gotta good laugh. thx =)

One day I was watching t.v. and I was sitting really close and my sister told me not to do that because the people have t.v.s in the studio and they're watching me and every other kid that's watching their show and i believed that until I was about 15, and I still catch myself sitting away from the t.v. cause I think if i'm too close they'll judge me
