I used to believe that people on TV where really small and you could smash your TV and pick out all the small people and have them running about your room
I used to believe that people lived inside the T.V, so every time the T.V was on i would try to get the people out!
I used to believe that there were tiny actors in my t.v. doing the shows. Needless to say, I was confused when I visited some of my friends and they had the same tiny actors in their t.v.s, too. I figured they cloned a whole bunch of tiny actors to get them in all my friends' televisions.
Also, I was very nice to my tiny actors. I would never watch t.v. for too long, and would always turn off the t.v. when I left the room, so that they could get some time to rest. And sometimes I tried to meet them by unscrewing the back of the t.v. My mom didn't appreciate this.
I remember having a sense of deep sympathy for the people inside the tv- I thought they had to really crouch and bend over and turn themselves really small to enter through the screen!
When I was little, I beleived that people lived inside the television and that they played all the characters!
i used to beleive that if we broke the TV screen, all the animals, cars, etc would come out. but the ghosts, and devils inthe shows scared me from doing this...
I used to believe that TV presenters all lived in the TV and when once confronted with Richard Whitely at a charity do aged approximately 5 years old I marched up to him and asked him 'how he had managed to get out of the telly!'
Altogether now, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I used to belive that all the things in the tv are actualy in it.
That little people lived in the television, and they would act out stuff whenever we wanted. I used to stick my fingers in the vents in back of the T.V. to try and grab them...
i believed that people lived in my television. it makes me laugh now when my 3yr old asks now if the girls and boys sleep together in the t.v.
It was nice to find out that I am not the only one who believed that the people on the television lived inside it! I remember looking at the back of the TV and wondering what would happen if the back came off.
when I was really little, I used to think that there were people living inside the Tv (also people living in the record player but anyway...) and that was the reason my Mum wouldn't let me watch TV late at night because they'd all gone to bed and I'd wake them up
I used to belive that every time you turned on the T.V little people climbed into it and started talking to you, so when the people on the adverts said stuff like " Does your car sound like this?" then I would answer " I don't know" Well I was only 6!
that people who were on the TV where actually inside of the television! and that if i smashed the screen i would end up where they were as there was no way i could end up anywhere else
I used to believe that people were inside the tv, when a programe was on.And could not figure out how they got in and out of there.
I used to think that you could open up the television and see all the little actors sitting inside.
One of my favourite shows as a very small child was the black and white 'Mickey Mouse Club' repeats that used to air around mid morning. My mother would busily attempt to get her housework out of the way while I was absored. I guess she didn't realise how absorbed I was. I somehow got the notion that the Mickey Mouse Club kids lived inside the television and if only I could smash the glass and get in there I could play with them.
Wish I could remember the look on my mother's face as she intercepted her toddler about to hurl the metallic broom stick through her prize colour television.
I used to believe that there were people in the T.V. and if you knocked on the glass hard enough they would come out of the screen.
I not only believed in the little people inside the telly (it seemed the most logical solution at the time) but also that these little people, in particular the daleks from Dr Who, were going to escape from the broken tv in next doors garage and come after me, a deeply worrying prospect at the time...
Tv had me going when I was a small kid. I beleived that the people I saw on the screen were really that size. I spent hours trying to get them out of the box. I wanted thoes talking dolls soooo bad (smiles).
