As a child I believed that the ratings on TV like Y7 and PG13 meant that it was illegal to watch those shows before you were that old. I spent most of my 7th birthday watching show rated Y7.
i used to believe television was just another window in our house. i used to talk to the tv. i thought sesame streeet characters were just my neighbors. i was so proud. somehow, i felt that they dont hear me or they dont care what i say, so i shout to them sometimes. i was so disappointed when i got to visit my cousins. "they're your neighbors too?!"
My mom used to watch the television programs about criminals all the time when I was younger, so I decided that I should try watching them too. Every time I saw a reenactment of a crime, I thought someone had actually caught the original criminal in the act and filmed it. I always wondered why that person couldn't have just called the police....
Thanks to my sister, I used to believe that babies saw everything upside-down. Every time we were watching television, my sister would insist that I watch it upside-down so that I could see life through a baby's eyes. And so that's what I did.
I used to belive that every TV show and movie was proformed right there and then everytime live, well then I heard they could take out scens and I thought when they did, they had to whipe your mind of that part to make you forget.
MARY POPPINS IS A BAD INFLUENCE ON KIDZ!!When i was like 6 or 7yrs old i believed i could fly w/ n umbrella like in the Mary Poppins movie. 4 like 20mins everyday i'd jump off my treehouse with n umbrella n try 2 float away. this went on 4 a while b4 a hurt myself :'(
At the end of Disney movies, they would always show the "And" symbol, &. Like "in assosioation with Disney & Lupin the Third", or whatever....Well, When the & came up, I thought that if I didn't rewind the tape or turn off the TV, that movie would never play again.
As a child our TV stayed on one channel. We had a TV
anntena and got only a few channels. For some reason I thought the neighbors were watching us on their TV. We had a fire and ran to the neighbors. I was
stunned to see they were watching the evening news
instead of us. I remmeber my mom telling my brothers to behave because the neighbors were watching us.
Maby thats why I thought this... wierd I know lol
when i was little i used to think Americas Funniest Home videos was fake
when i was 4 yrs. old, i thought that there are small people on the television so i was scared when our television was opened for a wiring check. i thought that the bad guys on T.V. will kidnapped me. XD

A friend of my brother & me used to insist that ITV was called BBC3.
Most people in the UK tune this channel to the 3rd preset on their TV, which I guess confused him.
I believed everything I saw on TV. Boy, have I grown up!
When I was a little girl I actually believe that movies were recorded from cameras in the sky, so
I would go around playing like I was in a movie because I really did think there was cameras in the sky.
When I was little there was a hole in the top of my TV and I thought that if I got into it, I would be come part of whatever I was watching so I put my arm in and thought it was part of the Lion King and was really excited. When I realized it didnt work I yelled "BLUE SKIDOO! YOU CAN TOO!" and ran at the TV. After slamming my face into the TV I didn't try again.
I thought that monty python was a person. That's all there is to it. The sad part is I thought that until I was twelve.
I used to believe once someone had been filmed for a tv programme or movie, their image could be manipulated to 'perform' in more tv programmes and films even after they were dead, simply because they had been caught on film once. I had mixed up something my grandmother had told me about television (I was only 8)
When I was about 6 my dad was a presenter on T.V. Whenever his program was on I used to jump and wave and start talking to him! I still do even though I know it's not real!=^-^=
I use to always believe that whenever you saw two people in a movie or on TV kissing, in a sex scene, etc., they had to be related. It would have been wrong if they weren't since then they would have been strangers.
when i was younger i always thought tv was invented when i was born just for me, as a birthday present. which made me question what my parents did for fun before me?
