I used to believe that the sun and the moon were one. During the day the moon became the sun. And during the night the sun became the moon.
when i was 5 years old i thought that little elves lived on each star and use a candle to lit it up. and there were lots of elves on the moon they all hold hands and light the moon up with candles my mum was worried she took me to the hospital 3 times
I used to believe that when the moon was out in the day that i was the otherside of the world
I use to (and still do) believe that somewhere in the universe there is another planet exactly like ours and if we ever made an expedition there we would think that we went in a big circle because the person that looked just like us would have taken an expedition back to earth so no one would notice that we were still gone.
i used to believe that if i stared long enough at the sun, then i could see it's true form and that it would appreciate me for my dedication to it and that would be able to see in the dark.
I used to belief that the sky can be touched by anyone
I used to believe that when you wished upon a star ... your wish would come true. Like one time I wished for a "My little pony" . The next morning I was sad to find my wish hadnt come true .
I used to believe that if you dug under ground a little bit that you would see space
Until i was, like, 10, I never got the Uranus joke. I'd ask my mom, "Whats a nus? And why am I one?"
I used to believe that we lived inside the earth (a bit like a snowglobe), and that the ozone layer was the earth's crust. I remember being told about the problem with holes in the ozone layer, which I assumed were caused by rockets going into space and having to smash through it.
i used to think the sun followed me every where
I used to think the stars were the angels windows. Thats how they could watch us. Sometimes I stll think that.
I used to believe we lived on the INSIDE of the earth instead of on top of it because I would hear them say "The astronauts broke through the crust of the earth" and I was amazed they could get through all that dirt.
When I was little I used to belive that the earth was it. No space at all.
When I was around 8 I used to think about the enormity of the universe and have panic attacks, and sometimes nightmares (blind terror) when I thought about what we humans really are, and how we came into being. I wondered; was our universe just a crumb on the table of a giant. I was always being told off by my Dad for "having my head in the clouds", and forgetting things.
i used to believe that wishing on a lonely shining star comes true
When I was 7 years old, I used to believe that the moon was a ball of snow.
My grandmother had a swimming pool. She told me that if we went swimming at night, and it was a full moon, we could get a moon tan. I asked her if that were true, why didn't they sell moonscreen?
i used to believe, very far below, right at the bottom of space there were huge treasure trunks full of giant rubies and pearls and fairies and giants guarded them.it was all really pretty
i used to think we were inside the earth then i thought how do rockets lift off and we cant be on the other side or we will float away then my mom told me the we are on the outside
