I used to believe that all things people eat or use (money and cars) all came from trees or plants i never realized otherwise until i was about 6 years old. I found this out by asking my mom how a tree could hold a car!! I alos figured it out by asking my dad why he went to work if he could just get money off a tree.

As a kid, my little cousin had poison ivy, and I was told that I'd get it too if he touched me. Needless to say he chased me around his house all day, and I was shocked when he caught me, tagged me, and I didn't immediately start itching or break out in hives.

I remember that when my sister and I were young, we used to run around our backyard and she would always eat dandelions. One day, while she was mid-chomp on this huge dandelion, I screamed and convinced her that they were poisonous. I think she thought they were poisonous until she was 12.
