i heard from sum 1 that if u did sum thing bad it would storm so i had to be good or else..........if i wasn';t god got angry and needed anger mangement.

One night when I was young, I believed that if I went into my mom's room it would stop the thunder from the storm outside. I went into her room and got in her bed, but to my surprise the thunder didn't stop. I never tried that again.

When I was little, I was afraid of thunder and lightning, cause I used to believe that during a thunderstorm, God and the devil were in a fight; God being the lightning, the devil being the thunder. I would picture God zapping the devil with the lightning and the devil getting real mad and throw a temper tantrum and that would cause the thunder.

I believed for years that the world would end during a thunderstorm, because my first grade teacher (a nun of course) told me when the world ended, God would come down with the thunder and lightning and take up the good people. For years I cried and trembled during thunderstorms. I still freak out a little even though my head tells me to quit being ridiculous.
