There is a factory in my town that emitts a lot of white steam. Everytime my family would drive by, my sister and I would exclaim "Look! It's the cloud factory!" We really believed that the factory made clouds.
when my family would be driving down a major highway, we would pass these factories that would let out this cloudy stuff. my mom would tell me "they are cloud makers"...little did i know it was pollution :)
I used to belive that the cooling towers at power plants were "the cloud makers" and that if it was a clear day they were slacking off.
sometimes my family would drive by big factories with pollution billowing out of them. i thought they were cloud factories, and whenever there was a drought, they'd just produce some clouds, so it would rain!
When i was 3 or 4 my aunt told me that pollution coming out of smoke stacks at factorys was "Cloud Machines". Iwas very gullible.
I used to belive that the smoke stacks on paper mills, were cloud factorys.I still wonder...
I used to believe that smoke stacks from buildings the expelled white smoke were cloud making facilities, and when I would ride past one I would watch them to see how many clouds they made in the sky.
When I was about 6 I thought that the smoke comin out of like paper mills was what clouds were.
as a child, i lived by the city (chicago), so whenever we would drive into the city, i would see the gigantic smoke stacks puring steam, smoke, smog, carcinogens, etc. into the air. i believed that thoses things put clouds in the air, like a kind of cloud machine.
I used to believe that the oil refineries near my house were really "cloud making factories." This seemed reasonable, I lived in Los Angeles near the ocean, the smoke-stacks were near the ocean, clouds are white, smoke is white...
I believed that the chimney of a nuclear reactor is a factory for clouds.
It's actually my sister's belief. Until recently (she's 20) she thought that all chimneys and smokestacks were cloud makers. She's silly.
When my children were little there was a asphalt plant in the town we lived in and it had a smoke stack. And I told them it was a cloud machine and for years they believed it and told others untill they were about 12 years old.
When I asked my mother where clouds came from, she said "factories" and I believed this for way too long - almost into my teens!
i used to believe that powers station cooling towers were where the clouds came from
When I was small my Dad told me that Power Stations were cloud making factories. I really believed him and got into a big argument with my teacher over it, ending up with 100 lines stating " I must not call my teacher stupid!"
I have always lived very near to a power station, and I used to believe it was a cloud making machine.
I used to believe that cooling towers were really just cloud making machines
When I was little I lived close to a nuclear power plant which had these enormous cooling towers. One day we drove past it and there was all this white smoke coming out of the huge chimneys. My mum told me it was where they made clouds and I believed it until I was like, ten or something!
I have a paper mill in my town that is constantly emitting clouds of smoke. I told my little brother that it was a Cloud Factory and that they had giants in there who ate baked beans and farted out the clouds in the sky.
