when my family would be driving down a major highway, we would pass these factories that would let out this cloudy stuff. my mom would tell me "they are cloud makers"...little did i know it was pollution :)
On long car trips we would pass factories whose tall stacks continuously steamed and smoked. I was sure these were cloud factories!
When I was little I thought that factory smokestacks that produced clouds of white fluffy exhaust were cloud factories, and that's where clouds came from.
I used to believe that factory smoke stacks created pretty, fluffy, white clouds.
I am a teen now. But when I was very young I believed the Hess stations (when the white smoke or fumes come out of it) were simply making clouds. I used to always stare at it in awe. To this day I don't know what that white puffy stuff coming out of it is. I sound foolish when I say so, but hey, nobody ever told me.
I used tho believe the the local Masonite factory, that gives off tall plumes of white steam, was the cloud factory where they made the clouds. I am currently 13.
It's actually my sister's belief. Until recently (she's 20) she thought that all chimneys and smokestacks were cloud makers. She's silly.
I used to belive that the cooling towers at power plants were "the cloud makers" and that if it was a clear day they were slacking off.
i used to believe that the things in factories that blew the smoke out into the air were cloud makers .. god, i was a stupid kid
My husband used to believe that smokestacks were cloud machines. It's just about the cutest thing I've ever heard.
Growing up we used to pass alot of factories. I was probably 5 when I announced to my parents...look that factory makes clouds. I saw the smoke coming out of the stacks. My parents never corrected me!!
i used to think clowds came from the factories that had white smoke coming out
when im dad would take me to the "big city"( aka chicago, indianapolis ect.) i thought that the smoke stack for the factories (which i didnt know that they were just that..) i used to think that the stack were the ones that made the clouds....i didnt found out that that wasnt true until i was like 12....duh..
when i was 6 years old i used to think the long factory tubes that blew out smoke made clouds...
I used to believe the smoke stacks at a local paper factory were cloud makers.
sometimes my family would drive by big factories with pollution billowing out of them. i thought they were cloud factories, and whenever there was a drought, they'd just produce some clouds, so it would rain!
I use to believe that the polution that comes from the mills were actually making clouds.

When i was little i used to think that smoke stacks where cloud machines. I thought that the put all the clouds in the sky during the day and sucked them back in during the night.
i used to think that clouds were smoke. we live by those big towers that always have fumes coming out. i thought that the smoke was clouds because it was always cloudy in that area...i was a weird child.
