My youngest nephew (aged 4), when telling the story of Easter, told us that on the crosses were Jesus and two Ninjas.
Car phones were just coming out when I was kid...I used to think that your lisence plate number was you car phone number so the people you met on th eroad could call you to chat.
I used to believe that black and white animals i.e, pandas, penguins, zebras, white tigers, etc. were the ones God had forgotten to color in his coloring book.
I used to belive that when you got married the bride and groom told the pastor how many kids they wanted and he would give them a seed (like a plant seed)for each kid.
I used to believe that "second hand smoke" came from smoking two cigarettes at one time, one in each hand. If smoking was bad for you, second hand smoke was worse.
My poppop told me that the reason I had freckles was because flies came in and pooped on my face at night. I believed him for years. :(
When I was little, my dad would blow my lights out before I went to bed, as if you blew candles out. It took me a long time to realize he just switched the flip at the same time.
When I was really young, I used to believe that the Speed Limit was actually called the Speed Lemon and I just thought that there was a lemon in the road that you couldn't drive across.
