random beliefs
I used to believe that the city of Tokyo was really ruined by incredibly huge monsters every week, just like in those old japanese series.
I thought that the TV show "Tomorrow's World" would tell me what would happen to me the next day. This was a short-lived belief, cos I watched it ...
When I was about 4 or 5 my mom told me not to break the coffee table because "a lot of money went into that". Of course being a small child I tried to break it open so I could get the money out!
When I was a little boy I used to burn ants with a magnifying glass until my tree was in fire so I stopped that because my dad was very angry
Since there were meerkats, I thought there were meredogs too
My Dad told me that the milk in coconuts was monkey wee. I believed him, not considering how on earth the monkeys would go about such an operation.
When I was little and farted my mother would insist I say "excuse me". I never heard her say excuse me so I thought only kids farted!
When I was little I thought that reincarnation meant that you turned into a walking and talking carnation if you weren't succesfull in life.
I used to believe that my parents were aliens and that after I went to sleep they would shed their human costumes.
When I was about 3 or 4 I used to be petrified of the vacuum cleaner ... I used to believe it was God.
How embarrassing that sounds now ...
