I used to believe that there was no way adults could have friends, that it was just a kid thing. I still sort of believe this, even though I'm 17 and most of my friends are legal adults.
I used to believe that if yo took a picture of someone while they're talking, a speech bubble would appear in the picture.

I used to believe that the kidneys are showers for the red blood cells; the water we drink washes the blood cells to clean them and the sewage goes to the bladder.
