random beliefs
I used to believe that if a town or city were 'twinned', they would be identical, ie if I went to the French town twinned with my home town it would have the same layout - streets, shops, etc!!!!
When I was very little I used to believe that if you broke a record little people would come running out and if I was fast enough I could catch them and have my own little living dolls.

I'm a New Year's baby and up until I was about 5 or 6, I thought the countdown at midnight was for me. Sadly, the self-absorption hasn't dissipated.
I used to wonder why we had to pay taxes when we never got to ride in one. I thought taxes and taxis was the same word.

When I was little i thought that the mirrors in the bathroom were actually cameras and people were watching me, so i sang and danced for them and even did toliet paper commercials.
When i was in preschool they served overcooked broccoli (almost yellow in color...ew) and after that I was convinced Cauliflower was just broccoli that got cooked too long and eventually turned white
when i was little my dad told me that cows that were nearly all white were full of milk and ready for milking and cows that were nearly all black had just been milked!
The lollypop man's job was to give children lollypops.
How disappointed I was when I met one. :D
