random beliefs
I used to believe that people on TV adds were paid with whatever they were advertising. I always thought that the breakfast cereal people must really hate those who advertised cars
My brother and I thought that Grandma lived at the airport because that's where we always went to get her. Then when we were tired of her, we took her back.
I used to believe that porcupines were humongous pine trees that could hurt you.
I used to believe that the PASS WITH CARE signs on the side of the road meant you were supposed to care about what you were driving past right then.
I used to think that you could fall into space through the Earth's crust in you kept digging in the garden
Lol.
I used to believe that the whole world blacked out everytime I blinked. When I was about 4 I forced my whole family to close their eyes all at once and was amazed when the lights didn't go out.
If you didn't eat the crust on your bread "Mr Crust" would stand at the foot of you bed and haunt you at night. Another tid bit from my Mother's childhood, past on through the years.
My dad told me that if you eat the seeds of a strawberry as a child, you wouldn't like strawberries when you grew up. I always felt sad whenever I ate strawberries.
When my husband was about 4 years old he asked his great grandma "you were around at the time of dinosaurs,what was it like?" The whole family fell off their chairs laughing!
Up till about the age of 10, I used to think that a cemetary was a place where they buried people in cement, and the grass was just on top.
