random beliefs
once i thought my parents were aliens who were keeping me locked at home ( I was homeschooled) because they knew that I had secret powers that would cause people to itch.
I was convinced that I could invent a machine that would pressurize wood, but denying it oxygen, it would not burn, but melt. I'm still not convinced it's impossible. :-)
i uesd to believe that when "if your happy and you know it clap your hands" song was the way for a teacher to see who was happy and who was cranky that day.
I used to believe that if you reversed the radio plug in the socket the music and words would come out upside down and backwards.
My older sisters had me believing that electricity was in the ground. I used to go around plugging radios and all sorts of stuff into the ground, and to my surprise, it never worked!
When I was 5, I came home from school begging my mum for 20p so I could buy a puppy. Boy was I dissapointed the next day when they were only selling poppies for rememberence day.
I used to believe that when restaurants said "free delivery," it meant that if you had the food delivered, it would be completely free.
I could talk (bark) with dogs, and
understand everything they were saying.
Other people claimed that I couldn't,
but I thought they were just being stubborn.
Before the invention of the camera, everything looked like a cartoon with the quality/effect of oil painting.
When I was little I used to think that the oval-shaped water tower in my home town was a storage chamber for a gigantic dinosaur egg and one day it was going to hatch and crush us like godzilla.
