Once my mother came to pick me up from school, one of my friends told her I was in the weight room and that she would go get me. It wasn't until I graduated high school that I found out my mother thought there was a room at school where kids go to "wait" for their parents to pick them up.
I had this really awful kindergarten teacher. I mean, she was just dreadful, so to most people, it came as no surprise when she was fired the next year. My peers and I, however, thought that she had died and was now a ghost that lived in the attic of our school (it used to be a house), and looked down at us through the ceiling lights. It made sense at the time, seeing as no one was allowed into the attic, and until forth grade, my classmates and I were terribly scared of the ceiling lights.
when i was in kindergarden, 1st grade 2nd and 3rd, i always thought that each day of the week had a color(and i still think about that sometimes). Monday=red tuesday=blue wednesday=orange
thursday=pink friday= black
An not until recently did i realize why i thought that! In kindergarden, we always had playtime. There were 5 things you could do, but only 1 each day. My teacher made a chart with colors representing weeks that told us what we could do taht day.
whenever i was mad at one of my teachers i'd draw pictures of them puking and shitting all over the place because that was the most humiliating thing i could imagine, and for some reason i believed that my drawing this would make it happen for real.
when i was a child i used to believe dat if a person failed in 12th standard, he will come down to 1st standard n will have to again clear all d standards in order to pass class 12th
When I first started secondary school, our form teacher introduced us to our Head of Year, and told us that as long as you kept on the right side of him he was fine, but he could get rather awkward if you got on the wrong side of him. I was 11 then, and even at that age I thought that meant he preferred you to walk on his right-hand or left-hand side!
When I had just finished kindergarden, I used to think that mine was the only school in the world that had a building. I believed that the others went inside a huge mud pot, after shrinking to fit in!!!
I used to think that my teacher lived at school until she came to school late one day. I was shocked!
Back in the 11th grade, I used to think that the athletic teams of two certain universities were the "Yale Yuppies" and the "Princeton Preppies". I still think it fits them better than Bulldogs and Tigers ever will!
I used to believe that if you were 1yr-old you'd go to gr.1, and when you turn 2 you'd go to gr.2, and so on.
