I used 2 believe that because our computer was soo slow and from what my dad told me that the internet asked every site ru .(insert url here)! i still kinda think that 2 this day
I thought music was made by computers until I was about 14. Somebody writes the lyrics then they put it in a computer and it makes the music. It made perfect sense to me.
i used to believe that www meant world wide willy until a few months later when i came across a frind who correced me and said it meant world wide web
When I was a child i used to believe you had to say 'cheese' to any camera type thing including the video camera. So the camera would face to me and I would say cheese for 5 minutes until I ran out of breath.
My grandparents gave me and my sister pocket-size, transistor radios when we got old enough to operate them. I had no idea what a transistor was. I didn't even know it was an object; I thought the word was an adjective. I thought transistor meant "pocket-size".
I used to think that data was stored on C.Ds by making a unique combination of scratches on the disc while it was in the drive, kind of like braille.
You know how when your on the internet and you type the website in wrong, it usually takes you to a search website? well I used to think everytime the serch site came up, it was an actual search engine liek google so I always thought "Daing! There are WAY too many search engines!"
that blackouts were caused by evil monkey's turning off all the lights.
When I was a wee tyke I actually believed that there were real tiny people in the radio making all that music and talking....now I just believe that they are living in my head, and telling me what to do....:-)
We were studying birds (or something) at primary school when one rich kid had a computer (very new thing) and printed out some fact on a particular native species. For quite a few years I thought that he had asked the computer about it and the computer had just given him what it knew, because computers knew everything...
We've sort of come full circle with google...
My dad used to tell me there was a midget in the photo booth at the mall and he would work inside the booth to develop the pictures.

I couldn't figure out how bombs worked. First I believed that planes could drop giant stones crushing whole cities. But I soon realised planes couldn't carry stones that size, and then thought they could drop a big fireball in the middle of a city, and then divide in to smaller fireballs rolling through all streets and burning everything up on its way. I must have been around 4
I used to believe, there was a little person inside my Dad's box Brownie camera.
When i was little i saw my mom typing on the computer really fast. I thought she was just hitting letters. So one day i decided to do it and i broke the key board!
A friend of ours, and his brother were once told by their dad that the tv remote didn't use batteries and instead had a pizo electric system in it, and were told that to make the remote work they had to shake it up and down.
After three months of this their dad replaced the batteries in front of them and they realised how stupid they were.
they weren't young, 22 and 20 :)
I used to think that a CD burner would literally burn the CD and when my dad bought one I asked "why don't you just use the fireplace?"
I used to think that my computer had a mind of its own. Whenever i ever was in a bad mood, my computer would strangeley enough run faster and download stuff faster, as if it were comforting me. Whenever i pushed my computer to much, it ould get angry and run slower and make me do worse in video games.
I used to believe that when you put a cd in a cd-player, thet the band was inside the speakers, and i used to try and get them out!
i once convinced myself that when i watched tv, the whole screen dissapeared and a new one popped up whenever a show or commercial was over. to test this hypothesis i decided to put a huge sticker dead center on the tv screen....
