i used to believe that when two people got married, that when the man put the ring on the woman's finger, it made a baby begin to grow in her stomach then i thought the baby came out of the bellybutton so the mother had to pour food through her bellybutton to feed the baby while she was pregnant...

When I was young I always pictured the bride and groom kissing at the end of a wedding and then a baby would imediately be born in the church.
When I was perhaps about 7 or 8 years old, I thought that when women got married they instantly became pregnant, and so I figured that all I ever had to do to keep from getting pregnant was to never get married.
I don't recall at what age I learned the truth, but I do remember always thinking that right after a couple got married, they would hug and the woman would leave the alter with a full blown baby bump. I never actually thought of how it came out...but the hug is what got her pregnant, and only after marriage. haha.
As a small child I believed that when you got married you instantly became pregnant (this probably had something to do with being raised amongst mormon family who always popped out at least one immediatly after getting married).

I never believed in the stork or anything. I used to believe that when a couple got married, the wife would automatically become pregnant.
I used to believe that people got pregnant by kissing on their marriage day.
I used to believe that a woman would get pregnant when she kissed a man. That's why I said to my friend one day when we were about 6 "The only reason they have a man and woman kiss at their wedding is to get a baby started." She nodded. Apparently she had the same belief. I was corrected when I joined an internet forum a year later...
I used to think that as soon as you got married and God saw that you were married He would let you have a baby.
When I was little I thought you would get pregnant automatically if you got married. So one day I saw my parents' wedding picture and I was wondering why my mom wasn't pregnant.
