I always thought that when you went on a airplane, it had to be early in the morning becuz when i was little, we always left before dawn. The whole logic of the situation didn't occur to me until i went on a plane in the middle of the day and didnt understand what was going on.

When I was younger, I lived near a small airport. When planes would fly over the house, i always thought that they were searching for me. So when i saw a plane coming I would run for cover under a tree.

When I first went to the top of the St. Louis Arch (about 5 yrs. old) I thought I was in an airliner because of the small windows and the view of the city. Apparently I had completely forgotten the elevator ride to the top!

when I was just a wee kid, I thought that when you brought dogs on airplanes, they put the dogs in wings. just loose, running around in a big free-for-all dog party in the wings up at 30,000 feet.

when i was little andi was going to go on my first plane ride my father pointed to a plane in the air and said 'thats what we're going on!' i didnt quite understand perspective, or that planes landed so i said 'but how will we all fit its so small? and how do we get up to it its so high up?' God what an idiot i was!

I used to believe that aeroplanes were robotic birds that flew around really high and that their nest was at the airport where they would then eat more people because the people would walk right into what looked like their stomach!
