People on TV shows live inside the television

When i was little I thought the people on TV were actually IN the tv and if you opened the back of the set you would see the small people who lived inside.

When I was old enough to realize what a T.V. was, I thought that little people lived in it and performed just for me. I didn't know they didn't live in the television until many years later.

When I was young I thought that there were little people living inside the tv making a tv-show or cartoon or something. I never could find the little people..Id look at the back off the tv but couldnt see anything...So I just sat in front of the tv, thinking how it could be..
