I use to believe that the earth rotates on actually axes....i just pictured it spinning on red handle axes
When I was very little, I asked my dad why there were commercials on TV. He told me it was to give the actors a break in between scenes. Totally bought it for a few years.
After hearing the phrase "time is money" I used to believe that money and time were essentially the same thing. So since 60 seconds equaled one minute, I thought 60 cents were equal to a dollar.
I remember that when I was little whenever I got in trouble my mom would tell me that she kept my reciept from the hospital and that she was going to return me for another baby if I didn't behave.
I used to think that "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under The Sea" was a story about an awful lot of sports being played under the sea, since there were 20,000 leagues there, in the story.
i used to think raisins were inside out flies. i still can't eat them to this day. :)
I used to believe...thanks to my older sister...that dogs could talk, but they just didn't talk to me, cause they didn't like me.
I used to believe that standing on my head while taking something to cure a headache would make it go away faster, because the medicine went straight to my brain
When i was younger my Grandma convinced me that there was a left and right sock. It took me forever to put on socks til i was about 12
I used to think bidets were for washing your face in. Even did once or twice until a cousin with slightly less prudish parents enlightened me... Gak !!!
