When I was a young child, I didn't understand why I got erections when I saw an attractive woman. I knew it had something to do with getting a woman pregnant but I didn't know how. At some point I finally came to the conclusion that an erection was like an antenna extending and that my penis was sending transmissions to get the woman pregnant. So for a while I worried that maybe I was the deadbeat father of some supermodel's baby.

When I was younger I asled my sister what raped meant cuz i saw it on a TV show. She said, "It's when somebody does something you don't want them to do." She didn't tell me it was sex, so I assumed that it mean anything. So the next day my friend said, "You're mom called my dad and said that you're coming home with me today, okay?" I didn't want to go, so i yelled, "STOP RAPING ME!"

i used to think if a man and a woman just got naked, and touched eachother something would seep through the woman's skin and she would get pregnat. so when i saw TITANIC, and Rose and Jack were in the car together, i figures she wouldn't get pregnat because she had Jack's coat in between them.

I used to believe that you could only have sex if you wanted a baby. This belief was immediately shattered as soon as I confided with my older cousin. So much laughing...
In a way I was glad that my cousin told me the truth. Who knows, the belief could've lasted a lot longer...

When I was little, I thought that the "sex" section on a driver's license told people how good you were at sex. I always tried to figure out what "M" and "F" stood for, exactly. Which one was bad, and which one was good?

While I was just learning what sex is all about I always thought that nipples had holes and the penis is supposed to be entered in those two small holes in the nipple ... huh !!

When I was about 8 I heard about masturbation for the first time from my friend's older brother and his friend (they were about 14). They were talking about semen saying it was really really sticky, like super-glue. One of them said that if you get it on your hands it would stick them together and you'd never be able to get them apart. I was petrified. I believed this for years.

I used to believe that each sperm was the size of a tadpole, a large albino tadpole, and as a result I was terrified of masturbating.

When I was 7, I was filling out an application for a local play I was auditioning for. When it came to the line "Sex", I was SO confused! I thought, "Why would they want to know if I had sex or not?" So, I answered "No" (rather than list whether I was a male or female).

I used to think being raped was being raked, and it was when a man hit a woman with a rake. When my Mum went out at night I used to cry and say "She might get raked!"

I used to think that the way most people had sex was lying on their sides, facing each other, When the man was on top of the woman, that was shagging.

I asked my mother what a 'homosexual' was when I was 11. She said it was when men danced together.

When I was little I didn't know the meaning of the word "gay" other than meaning "happy" - so when bullies on the playground in elementary school asked me if I was gay, I said yes - until I found out what it meant. Turns out I was right the first time.
