When I was little I used to believe that everone died at the same time. I thought God would pick a day when everyone all over the world (which at the time consisted of 4 or 5 people) would lie down on the pavement and they would be gone. There was no dying, only death- it just was. All I knew was that no one would be left behind.

when i was about 6 or so one of my brothers older freind told me that if i inhaled fumes from a motorcycle i will soon turn into a lepurchaun.And i thought i had gotten some fumes into my lungs so i got scared and told my brothers freind that i had inhaled some fumes.He said the only way to slow down the procces was to breath as least as i can and drink lots of water.So i held my breath and ran home takeing as least breaths as i could on my way.Then i drank about two glasses of water and told my mom and she told me dont worry.I was so relevied!

when my great-grandma died my mum told me to kiss her goodbye. then when we went back outside there was a rainbow in the sky. my mum said that it was the staircase that dead people used to get to heaven and that my great-grandma was walking up it right then.

My dad once told my sister and I when we were fighting that if you went to bed mad at someone, one of you might not wake up, i.e. die. I believed this for years, and he denies ever telling me this to this day!

i used to believe that just before u died that u were told by who ever was looking after u also died and me mum said to me when i was about 6 do you want 2 come 2 grandads and help me take care of him? and i said to her no coz i dont feal like diying just yet and she said 2 me u arent going 2 die your just going to help me look after your grandad and ever sine then i have been so imbarrised and realisied im a knobhead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used to believe that when people died, they would be picked up by their arms and legs and thrown into their grave. I told my mother about this, and she replied, "No! You don't throw dead people around like they were a sack of potatoes!"

When you're going into kindergarten, you have to get a shot, or else they won't let you in. Mind you, I was that shy girl that whenever I'd see someone new, i'd hide behind my mom. So my mom kept teling me that I was going to get my shot, I was thinking that someone was going to shoot me with a gun. So when we got in there, I ran under the table, and the fat nurse took 2 hours to get me out...but it worked...

why as a child i thought and believed this, but i believed i would die at the age of 28....
i am now 29, but when i was 28 i did lose my dad and a pregnancy....so, i guess parts of me died.

when my great gran died i was told that she would always be watching me in every thing i did so when i went ot bed i thought she was watchin me sleep so i started having nightmares because i thought i could see her. then my dog died and i thought i could see her with my great gran

My friend told me that her dad told her, once a few years ago that when small children shoot a gun that their heads pop off, or they go deaf. But, I know plenty little kids that have hunted with guns. I think he just doesn't want her near a gun....

my brother told me if i yawned i would die so ide run around trying to yawn all the time and then told my mom and dad and they laffed at me still didnt solve my problem

When I was young I saw kids going "I'm dead!" whenever they died in some
stupid imaginary game, and from then on until I was about 7, I thought that
was what people said when they die, no matter what situation they were in,
or how they died.
