I used to watch rugrats when i was a little kid, and there was an episode where a watermelon grew inside of Chuckie's stomach. Because of that, I was always afraid to eat a watermelon because i thought if i swallowed a seed, that would happen to me. I thought it was true until i was about 8.

I used to believe that if I ate the black seeds in watermelon, I'd grow a watermelon in my tummy. So whenever I would get watermelon with any black seeds, I'd spit them out. However, one day I told my mom and dad about the black seeds, and how bad they were b/c you'd grow a watermelon in your stomach. My dad responded, " What? Get outa here...you wont grow a watermelon in your stomach," and everyone was laughing at me.

When I was little my grandfather told me that if you swallowed a watermelon seed a baby would grow in your belly. Black seeds made black babies, and white seeds made white babies. When I went to my older & wiser 12 yr old aunt upset that I was going to have a baby after accidently swallowing a seed, she explained that you could only have a baby if a boy and girls pee-pees touched. For a long time after that I was scared to pee in a toilet without first flushing it, thinking there might be some boy pee in it and make a baby.

It was fourth of July and we were eating watermelon. I had swollowed most of the seeds and my mom says "You should be careful Melissa, Eating watermelon seeds makes you grow watermelons like this" And she pointed at her stomach.

I used to believe that you got pregnant by eating watermelon seeds! I thought that the watermelon seed would go into your belly and grow into a watermelon and then turn into a baby! I was scared to death to eat watermelon and I still to this day do no eat the seeds!!!!!!!!!

My grandpa has a really big stomach, and when i was little he told me and my sister that if you swallowed watermelon seeds that one would grow in your tummy. Then he'd say that it's too big to be pooped out and it would stay in there for the rest of your life. After that, he used to pretend to swallow the seeds (but we believed him) and that's why we thought his stomach was so big.

So natually I did it. I looked at my belly and could've
