when i was little i thought every time i left the room my parents turned into aliens
Due to my extreme fear of E.T. (yes that cute little alien), I used to believe that anything the color of brown could instantly morph into E.T. even though the movie never displayed that he had any morphing powers.
I seriously used to think that the random noises made by the old plumbing in our house would just happen to be interpreted as alien speech by some nearby aliens and they would come to investigate and GET me.
Looking back on this one, I'm amazed not by how silly it was (after all, I was a kid at the time) but how amazingly complicated it was.
When I was 4 my brother told me that he was an alien, sent to earth to study humans. He told me that he would dissect me in my sleep. I retorted with the classic "I'm telling Mom and Dad!"
His response, "They're aliens, too."
I was terrified of sleeping for months.
I used to believe when i turned my head my family went back to there alien forms and only looked human when i was looking at them
i was a rather gullible child, and my older sister was always taking advantage of this. once, she managed to convince me that i was a human alien hybrid (we watched a lot of x-files), and that our mother and father weren't my real parent's. she even mixed up a concoction of food coloring and put it in a vial and told me it was a sample of my blood. i cried for days.
I used to think that my family were all aliens and they were trying to trick me into believing that they were humans. I was afraid that they were going to take me to their mother ship.
That if I stepped on a crack on a sidewalk that I would get abducted by aliens
I used to tell my brother, who was about 4, that i didnt have any homework to do because the alien came from outta space and took it away. I said this so much that i actually believed it myself! I believed this for ages!
I also believed i had an invisible/imaginary boyfriend who bought me bracelets obviously i was only young then!! but i must have looked like a complete freak.. but atleast my freakiness has come in handy for making all you people laugh o ths website, Freakiness rocks doesnt it? x
my little brother used to sleep in different places every night to confuse the aliens so they couldn't find him and abduct him
Ever since I saw the previews for the anniversary DVD, i was terrified of E.T. Usually when I was in bed, my dad was asleep across the hall and had his television on. sometimes it had the beeps blocking out the curses and sometimes it made me think of E.T. I was afraid to get out of bed and tell my mom because I thought he was under the bed and ready to grab my ankles, drag me under the bed and kill me or at least burn my face with the light-up finger of his. I was afraid of watching the movie, listening to tv premieres, even going to universal studios and going on the bicycle ride or getting an e.t. pin.
When I was about 8 I started believing that there was an alien on his way to earth just for me. I thought that if I laid on my side while sleeping then every breath would bring him one step closer. I used to really freak out if I awoke and realized I had been sleeping on my side instead of on my back or stomach. I just knew that one day he was going to catch up to me since I took so many breaths.
as a child i used to believe were all living in a doll house like world and that there were bigger aliens playing out our lives. but we couldnt see them of course.
In elementary school a group of friends and I found a large boulder that was almost completely buried in a field on the playground. We had a theory that it was a space ship that had crash landed on Earth and the aliens still lived inside it. We would press our ears to the surface of the rock and hear voices coming from within. For nearly an entire year we would start trying to dig up the space ship every day during recess.
When I was younger I used to talk to our fridge and whenever my mother asked what I was doing I claimed that I was talking to aliens. I thought all the appliances were aliens!
when i was little i watched independence day. after that i thought hippies were aliens(ROFL!!!).
Also the first time i played halo i thought Grunts were real aliens & they wore the gas masks because they were to ugly!(LOL)

I was afraid to sleep alone or close to a window when I was little because I thought aliens would reach into the window and abduct me. I was especially scared that this may have already happened because you can't remember alien abductions. I also thought I may have been an alien baby that was put into my mom and she didn't know about it. I thought maybe they would want to take me back. I watched a lot of unsolved mysteries and stuff like that.
When i was a kid i used to think that all ugly people were imported from space haha!!!!!
I used to believe that aliens lived in my bathtub. Well, they weren't so much in the bathtub itself. The noise that the water made when it was draining was their call, and it made them come up through the drain.
After awhile of this I started to get out of the bath, dry off and dress before draining the water, and when I would pull out the stopper I ran out of the bathroom really quickly, before it had the chance to make that noise.
I believed that until about 5th grade.
When I was a little younger, and rode on the bus to school, I used to belive that the pushing on the back of my seat was either aliens or un-dead zombie children from the past INSIDE the seats. And that if you leaned against the window and fell asleep the aliens/children would bust out of the seat and eat you. I wouldnt touch a indow for 3 years.
