I thought when the tv said They were showing a Movie in a theater near you i got mad! Because There was no heater near me i i thought i could never watch movies!!!!!
Well, growing up, my mom raised me really weird (she was a germaphobe and stuff) and whenever I saw kissing in movies, I would be disgusted and think about all the germs they would be spreading, and how would they be pretending to kiss each other like that when I thought that only people in love kissed each other. So I kept thinking of possible ways they could be kissing appropriate and without spreading germs. One idea was they had pieces of plastic stuck to their lips when they were making out.
I used to beleive that people in music videos and movies were doing them live all the time. I always wondered how they change clothes so fast.
i used to belive that wnen you watched a black and white old film ,the people were actually black and white and therr was no colour.
When I was little I knew that people on T.V. and in movies were only acting...so I thought during the "kissing parts" they couldn't possibly be kissing someone they didn't know. I thought they must have a clear piece of plastic in between their lips that the audience couldn't see so that they weren't really kissing.
I used to believe that a 'Lifesaber' (the glowing weapons in Star Wars) were actually called 'Life-savers'. I was so confused why someone would want to hit an enemy with something that was called a Life-saver. Sadly, I'm 14 and I just found out a couple months ago.
i used to believe i was freddy kruger and i would run around my house scraping my freddy fingers that i got from the theme park i also used to speak like him
You know the film 'The wizard of Oz'? It starts in black and white but changes to glorious technicolour when Dorothy arrives in Oz?
I used to think they'd started to make the film before colour was invented and just decided to start using it once it was available!
When I saw previews for The Lion King before other Disney films, I saw people taking pictures of real animals. From that I drew the belief that Lion King was a movie of live animals that was shot on to special "animated film," which made the movie animated.
i used to think that since the movie screens in theatres were so big that there was a huge video player behind the screen and several people had to lift the gigantic tape into the player and then someone had to be shot out of a canon to hit the play button.
I used to believe that if you answered the phone you go into the Matrix and got to kill agents, so I would always try to answer the phone. one time when i actually did after hanging up i tried to run on the wall gowing down my steps and broke my arm, so i know better now
I used to think that Jawas(from Star wars) were real and from some far off country and would fix your tv n stuff.
My mom thinks im cool.
When I first saw Star Wars at home on video I announced my contention that the green bounty hunter's name was "Quachy Nose" because that's the sort of nose he had. It confused me to no end when I got the action figure and saw the name "Greedo" on the package.
Back when the COCOON movies were popular I for a long time thought there was an actress in them named Donna Meechee (I wasn't sure how to spell her last name). I puzzled over what character she played. Quite sometime later I finally found out that I was hearing the name of actor Don Ameche instead.
When I was younger, Grease was one of my favorite movies, and I was convinced that Olivia Newton-John was married to John Travolta in real life. I even had proof: she took his name, only she choose to take the "John" instead of the "Travolta."
When I was young my parents let me watch Terminator 2. Somewhere in the film it said the whole world would end in 1997. I believed this to be true until 1997 came and nothing happened.
I believed that the film "Home Alone" was actually called "Homer Lone" and that that was the name of Macaulay Culkins character.
When I was little, I swa the movie Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and got scared to death of the Oompa Loompas. I thought they would come and send me down a chute to a garbage disposal while I was sleeping. I still get the jitters about them.
when I first heard of the film home alone I thought people were talking about some guy called Hoe Malone.
I imagined him being kind of like a cross between bb king and frank sinatra.
I used to think that James Bond and all the other secret agents worked for MFI.
