I used to believe that when they played songs on the radio, the bands actually came into the station and set up and played. Every time. I was like, "I wonder how they sound exactly the same every time though?"
I use to belive that when you listened to the radio
that the people singing were acualy at the radio station on a stge playing for the people, instead of a recording or cd
I used to think that songs on the radio were being performed LIVE at the radio station.
I used to think that there were little Japanese men inside of the radio that would sing all the music, do all the newscasts, etc.
I used to beleive that when I was youunger the singers in the radio actually went to the radio station and did a live preformence that was sent across the airwaves
When I was a kid I used to believe there were literally very very very very small people inside the radio.

That every time you heard a song on the radio, the band was in the studio playing it live. I couldn't figure out how they got to the all the radio stations so fast!

I used to believe that singers, on radio stations, were live on-air and thought that they ran from one station to another. What I couldn't quite figure out was that if I heard a singer on one station and then the same singer a few seconds later on another, how they managed to run so quickly.
I asked my mom where the sound from the radio came from, and she told me it was from a radio station that sent the sound from an antenna and that the one on the car (she pointed to it) caught that signal. That made me think that musicians had to live at the radio station to play their songs every day.
I used to believe that the music coming out of the radio was performed live and each band would come on in turn and play. I had no idea the music was recorded.
When I was little I thought the radio station wouuld be the coolest place in the world to go because i thought all the people were actually there, at the station, playing and singing..

I used to think that when the DJs on the radio played songs it was the artist singing live. I could never figure out how they got people in and out of the "singing chair" and how they got their bands set up so quickly. It's was years later that I finally found out that it's all pre recorded on a tape or cd.
I used to believe that the music on the radio was being played by live musicians in the studio. I was very confused when I passed an actual radio station and saw how small it was, and wondered how all those bands could fit inside.
