I used to believe that cows made cobwebs. See, we had cobwebs in the barn and spider webs in the house. I knew spiders made spiderwebs, so cows must make cobwebs - maybe I misheard the word?

I used to believe that a cow produced different kinds of liquids from every teat. There was light milk, whole milk, cream, and whiskey. Because that's what my dad told me.
When I was about 9 I had a single bed and I had a huge light on my wall next to my bed. One night I was in bed reading a book and It came to a part in the story about a spider and in the corner of my eye i saw somthing moving and I saw a HUGE spider almost on my sholder. I ran out screaming and crying. Now I never read books about spiders and i belive that you always have to check your bed for spiders!!!
My grandmother told me that if I ate my carrots I'd be able to see in the dark. I was afraid of rabbits for awhile because I thought they were lurking in the dark watching me.
When I was very small I used to believe that if you put your fingers in the plug sockets loads of worms would come wriggling out of them and cover the room.... i used to try and figure out for ages how the worms came out of them.
I used to believe that when animals died, they became stars in the sky. We lived in the country, and I had more than one cat disappear, most likely to the unlucky dinner of local coyotes and red foxes. I would lay in the front yard at night for hours crying and trying to console my young heart with the twinkling stars above.

My grandma got a cat when I was about 4-5 and I figured she must have picked it up off a shelf at the grocery store, like bread or cereal. It never occurred to me that I'd never seen cats and dogs on the shelves there, it just seemed natural.
When I was little I used to love the My Little Ponies and their human friend, Megan. Since Megan's appearance would change in some episodes/movies, I used to believe that every girl that owned a horse or pony was named Megan.
When I was a kid my brother told me that elephiants eat their own poop and then poop it out and eat it over and over so if you had a pet elephant you would never have to feed it. I used to believe that the owl outside of my window was some sort of demon. I would not go to bed until the noise would stop. I used to wake my dad up in the middle of night to go scare it off. Even after he scared it away I would not go to bed. I would picture all these bad things that it could do, especially after watching scary movies and seeing what can be done. Events soon changed when the barn it lived in was torn down due to a fire. I then realized that it was just a bird, in a tree.
