When I was a kid one old lady used to take care of me when my mom was working.
She moeved in my neighbourhood to live with her son and his family, but before she lived on a village.
So she sometimes talked about her life there(what was very amuzing for a 3 year old) and about all the animals she had.
The story that impresed me the most was about foxes, who came on dark nights to steal her chickens. She did't know that foxes for me were terrible blood thirsty creatures with creepy eyes.
Foxes became my biggest fear. I saw them on the edge of my bed, stearing at me,in the basement where I had to keep my bike, and everywhere in the apartment when I was alone at home.

Today foxes are one of my fav animals.
And I can never see what was so scary about them.

When I was 3 or 4 my dad told me that if I touched a cat and I din`t wash my hands right away my thongue would become blue and I won`t be able to speak. I realized that this wasn`t true when I was about 12. Guess what, now I have a cat and when I touch it nothing happens!

I used to think that snake bites just meant that the snake was justcoming back to eat u completely...unless u hid under ur covers at night

I used to think that snarled trees were giant snakes wanting to come in and...sleep in my bed. Once i swore i saw 2 green lights and 2 red i still se them on nights when its cold, raining, and anything would be DYING to come inside...

I was convinced by my loving brother that Ivory soap was made from elephant tusks. Because of this I yelled at my mother for trying to buy it one day at the grocery store. She was not pleased

I believed that dinosaurs still exsisted in this big pond by where I lived, so when I was younger I would always tell my mom to take me there... and I would see like a cup in the water and be like..."look mom there's one!" and should would say..."I dont see it!" and I would say..." well you can't see them with your eyes...you have to look with your heart!" i guess its kind of cute..but its funny.

i uest to believe that ticks could get on me and suck all my blood out my body. (thanks to my neighbor telling me a scary story)

I used to believe that water rats came out at 7pm and would attack me. I went home at 6:55pm for a long time as a kid.

When I was little, about four or five, I used to believe if you ate enough cat food you would actually turn into a cat.

When I was a kid I used to believe that the birds up in the sky chooses people whom they don't like to shit on them. So whenever a bird was flying above me, I whispered softly that they have nice feathers and hoped that the wind would convey my message to them!

when i was little i believed that it was up to me to build ants a place to live. so i would mold a clump of mudd into a house-like shape, (or atleast attempt) and build a little ant city. strangely enough, a colony of ants actually lived there for a while. haha

I used to believe that bears lived like humans do, because I used to think that their caves were filled with furniture.

i only just recently found out that earwigs are not going to eat my eardrums. i'm 18 years old.

I used to believe that under the bed there were small 1 legged bugs that hopped around. They had a circular body and they had a little sphere that was yellow that went into the leg and the center. If you were good that day they would give you a nice dream. If you were bad then they would give you a nightmare and possibly, embarassing sleepwalks.- hope no one minds about it being in creepy crawlies

I once belived that animals were actually people dressed up in furry clothing...but then I wondered about the birds and the rodents...I WANNA FLY AND SPREAD DEADLY DISEASES! D: so unfair...
