When i was a little boy, i used to believe that the parrot were a kind of robots created by the police to spy on us beacause they were always repeating that we said. Besides, in a lot of films or series, the spies were always using a lot of different gadgets to spy on us. I discover the truth when my cousin adopted a parrot so i went to see him and by living with the parrot, i realised that the parrots were just animals like others. Now, when i think about that, i find that i was ridiculous to think about that beacause it's logic that the parrots were true animals

I used to believe that duck eggs had a blue yolk inside, before realising that it was just the shell. At least that would be more unique than just yellow ones.

I used to believe that crows and ravens were the same species; crows were males and ravens were females. This belief is because Raven is a girls' name and Crow sounds more like a boys' name

I used to believe that birds couldn't fly in the rain because I had watched a cartoon with fairies and mischievous where fairies couldn't fly because they had wet wings. For me this law applied to birds too. One day, I saw a bird fly when storm and I said to myself "What? But how does he do to fly in the rain?". And it's the way that I understood.

I used to believe nugget-laying chickens existed. Unlike chicken breast and chicken leg a nugget doesn’t actually look like a body part so I never realized what it really was

I used to think that when a baby bird was old enough to fly out of the nest and live away from the mother bird, it would sometimes go back to back to visit her in the same tree, like when we humans stay in touch with our relatives!
