siamese twins are joined together. remember the film the aristocats and the the two cats that sung "we are siamese if you please". i always used to wonder why they werent stuck together cos they were siamese twins!

when i was little i used 2 belive that cats whiskers were good luck so when my cat was near me i used to grab them and say look now i have good luck. one day i decided that if i cut them off i would have good luck as long as i had them ( to bad thats not true) when i did cut them off (i did it a few times) it took my mom a while to know what happened then she found out what happened she grounded me from scisors for a year and told me never to do that again and i told her it was for god luck and she couldnt believe it she broke out laughing.(i was still grounded) i still have my cat and now i have a dog i dont believe that my cats whiskers are lucky anymore!!

I used to belive weather could be unbearable for animals, dogs, cats, any type of animal. Like it can be for humans too. Like if we are hot we take of some clothes. And if were cold we put on clothes. Well i figured my cat was hot with all of his fur, so i shaved him, then i realized like us humans, if we want to put on stuff cats cant glue fur back on, thats when my mom came home and brought me to the ER, to evauluate me for animal cruelty.

I used to believe cats rubbed against you to be affectionate. I then learned that they are actually marking you as their own. I am glad my cats don't pee on me.

When I was around 3 or 4, I believed that all dogs were boys and all cats were girls......I found out that 'myth' was a mistake. It's funny---almost all the dogs I've owned over the years have been boys....and me? I'm alergic to cats....

When I was young I had a cat called Fluffy.. after a few good years she disappeared, my parents told me she'd run away with a boyfriend...

Only when I was 16 did I decide to confront them about it. I said "Mum, dad, Fluffy didn't runn away. She died didn't she?"

They told me she'd actually been sold to someone else. And I thought (and STILL think) I would have prefered if my kitty had died

Yep. You guessed it. As with almost everyone here, I used to believe that dogs were boys and cats were girls.

Bizarrely, I think that Tom and Jerry episodes with the bulldog in had something to do with it...

I expect there's a Clinical Psychologist out there right now just dreaming of the breakthrough reading this site could offer :-D

I used to believe my nan's dog was a werewolf. I used to tease it with biscuits and it used to try and bite me and then i would run away. Eventually the dog actually bit me and i was sure if a werewolf. I told my nan her dog was a werwolf and she laughed so i thought that the dog would bite her. I was so scared i never teased her again.
