Cats and dogs are the same species

I used to believe that all cats were female and all dogs were male, and when they mated, the male babies were dogs, and the female babies were cats.

When I was a kid I believed cats were girls, dogs were boys. When they had babies if they had a female they would have a kitten, male babies would be puppies.

when i was little, i used to think that all cats were girls and all dogs were boys, and that they had babies: the baby girls were cats, and baby boys were dogs. i had a friend (who i didn't know then) who used to think so too!

When i was about 3 years old i used to think that dogs were boys and cats were girls and they got married.. don't ask me what i thought their babies would be...

Up until my mid-teens, I thought that all cats were girls and all dogs were boys.

Like a few people have mentioned I used to think that Dogs were the boys and Cats were the girls. I think this belief came from the various cartoons I watched as a child such as "Lady and the Tramp" where the girl puppies all looked like Lady and the boys looked like Tramp and other cartoons that used a similar idea. Walt Disney has a lot to answer for. :)

I thought, up until a fairly late age, that cats were just female dogs, or dogs just male cats.. you know what i mean. Funny huh'!
