At age 12 I got so upset i cried when i went to go get a new pair of jeans, because my old ones had been so good to me and i was afraid their feeling would get hurt because i had had them for like 2 years, even though they were ripped everywhere i didn't want to get new ones. I was the same way with tennis shoes!

i used to believe that a ghost lived under my bed and that a giant lived under our dining room table.
I used to think that if my toes weren't covered by my blanket while I slept then little troll monster things would hop up and eat them...
I still don't leave them uncovered at night...
When I was very young, about 4 or 5, we used to spend a lot of time at my grandparents' farm house. Now at the time, they weren't that well off, so the bathroom was just a step up from an outhouse. It was a bucket with a toilet lid in the basement corner. Well basements are already creepy enough for a child, let alone a little girl. There used to be all these spiders with really long legs, and my mom would explain to me that they were daddy long legs. This really bothered me, and I never wanted to use the bathroom and would fight with my mom. She finally asked why and I said that daddy long leg spiders had to be boys and I didn't want boys to watch me pee. My grandparents still get a good chuckle over that one.
when iwas a child there was a hole in the ceiling above our sink and i used to think that the hole sucked up the steam when my mom would drain pasta. it turns out steam rises by itself.
I used to believe that if I got soap in my eyes I would go blind, because all of the labels said keep out of contact with eyes. I didn't realise that it's because it stings.
When I was little I watched a movie with cops interviewing a suspect and saw the one-sided mirrors they used to watch the people in the interrogation room without them knowing. For the longest time after watching that movie I always thought people were behind my mirror watching me , so i would try and hide from it while I changed clothes.
I used to believe moving was taking a saw to cut up your house, and carry your house to the street where you will live in.
there was an evil side of the bed and a good side of the bed. I slept on the good side, of course. I used to put up walls of stuffed animals to seperate the sides and keep me safe before i went to sleep, so that nothing from the evil side could sneak over and get me. I didnt even walk on that side of the room untill i was like 12.

I used to think that if you go into a shower nothing can hurt you because you're protected by water
when i was about 4 or 5 the way my older sisters would get me out of the room was to say "the carpet can eat you lily you'd better run" i would always run away thinking it would eat me.
When I was little, we had a second house. It had a 'bedstee', it's a little room with only a bed in it. Anyway, I used to believe that there was a sort of imaginary world behind the wall, so I used to steal knives and screwdrivers to get behind the wood and into the other world... When my parents saw what I did with their wall they weren't happy...
The fan in our bathroom when I was younger was really loud. The switch was right by the one for the light and my mum taught me not to press the fan. I think she was just trying to teach me how to turn on the light but for a few years later, I believed that the fan switch woke up a monster and that was the noise.
When I did the BLOODY MARY thing I saw something..... Now I know the truth.I would not go near my bedroom mirror for 3 months.
I used to believe…
whem i was 10 i was faraid of the toilet because of the noise.i dont know why but loud noises scare me .so i would always wah my hands BEFORE i flushed the toilet and then flush the toilet and run.so one day i told my dad and he wanted to show me there was nothing to be afraid of he said to come to the bathroom with him so he could show me i said no so he carried me to the bathroom i started kicking and sceaming he flushed the toilet and i started BALLING AND SCEAMING BLOODY MURDER.and that`s that.[by the way im 11 now]
i thought that when you were in the bath you would get sucked down the drain
when i was really little, i used to believe that there was a tiny elf in the fire alarms who had a huge nose. i thought that he held a lantern (you know the little green light that is on fire alarms) and had a whistle so that if he smelt smoke he would be able to warn us. i don't know why but they always have made me nervous. hehehe! how silly!
when i was about three or four i used to live in this apartment and then we had this really hugh closet in the hallway. I had to pass that closet to get to my room too. I used to think that there was this blue horrible monster in the closet and when i would walk by it, the monster would come out and eat me. One time, I had to go into the closet to get my shoes and then i realized that there was no monster in there.

I used to believe…
That, if I took a shower and closed my eyes that someone might kill me or eat me. I still sorta believe, that might happen.
