Under my friends sink there were these holes just big enough to stick dry spaghetti in. So of course we did. I believed these spaghetti strands would travel down miles of pipe and enter the ocean, and I thought of hundreds of possibilities. A few years later, I found they just dropped right into the cupboard's interior...
when i was 9 , i thought that the lochness monster would come out of the pot , u no , jut out its long slimy neck from there , but later i convinced myself that it could not get into the drain pipe [or cud it ?]

I was never afraid of the Boogie Man as a child. Being a child of the 70's, I was well familiar with disco and I just figured he was someone who came into your room late at night dressed in sequins who wanted to dance with you.
When I was a child we moved house quite a lot. I used to belive that there was treasure stored in the ceiling in every house & that if i could just get inside the man hole in the ceiling it would all be mine! I never did manage to get a look up there.....
When i was about 7 years old I thought that after school all the children came home & hid in my closet & secretly watched me, i was frightened to change my clothes anywhere but the bathroom for years.
I could never figure out where they hid when i opened the doors though.

when i was 10 i used to believe that there was some sort of ghost or zombie or something behind the shower curtain so i always had to check behind it or open it before i used the bathroom! i still get scared sometimes!
I thought there were germs under my bed!
i only indulged in sitting on our bathroom floor once to play with my bathing toys because my mom warned me to keep my eyes open for earthworms. she said they tend to crawl out of the spaces between the tiles and enter one's body through his/her holes (you know). i feared bathroom floors since then. now that i'm grown up, i dropped the fear, but i still keep off any tile, even on walls.
My family had this HUGE fireplace and whenever it was night and I had to walk by it to get to my room, i thought wolves were going to run out of the fireplace! I always i had to have my sister walk with me!!!
My step-dad made me believe that if you put a baby wipe in the toilet it would explode, and one day (i think i was 5) I accidentally dropped on in and I screamed, running to my mom with my pants all the way down. And I was at my Aunt's house so it was more humiliating.
I moved into a new house a couple of years ago and there was an old lady that used to live in this house. I hear strange noises at night (coming from the fridge and out side) and it sometimes scares me. One time I was practising piano and heard a sound that sounded like someone or a doll saying mama.. it scared the life out of me..

When I was, like, 4 or something, I thought there were sleeping monsters behind the shower curtain, and when you flushed the toilet, the would wake up and get you. I'm still creeped out, and occaisionally, I'll run out of the bathroom.
