i used to believe that there are monster who will eat you under your bed if you don't pray before you sleep.

I used to believe that a crocodile lived in my basement. So when I was too old for my pacifier, my mom told me that Mrs. Owl (The owl that watches what I do and tells God and Santa if I was bad) came in and pooped on them. We had to throw them down to the crocodile along with some money so that he could buy me new ones.

I used to believe that the sink hole down my bathtub inhabitited the good witch, whereas my best friend's bathtub's drain inhabitited the wicked witch. I slept over at my best friends house once, i had a bath and sat right up the other end to the drain hole. Once the water went down the drain, i was so scared that the wicked witch was going to suck me down with the water i cried.

I used to be freaked out when I went to my garage to get the food for my dog because I thought the Nain Rouge lived in a box behind my dad's car.

F.Y.I.: Nain Rouge is a creature that's been since the 1700s-Now.

When I was about four, my Mom stopped helping me take a bath so when I was done with my bath, I would just throw my towl on the floor in my perants room and my Mom would yell at me and say "Its going to grow mold!" So when I brushed my teeth, I wouldnt let my Mom put water on my toothbrush before I brushed my teeth because I was worried my mouth would grow mold : (

i used to believe that there was a monster named Eliza in my blankets, so i alway slept on the floor. Except Eliza had a husband who liked to sleep under the bed and bite the heads off of little girls while singing, "Im A Little Tea Pot". So i ended up sleeping on my couch, except Eliza and her horrible Teapot hus band had a slightly bi-polar cousin who like going tinto my fridge during the night and eat all of the milk, thats why i never had any for my cereal. THen, I slept in the bathroom except the slightly bi-polar cousin had a friend named Albert who was mentally disabled and every time you turned on the lights he would scream, "BAH!!!!!!" So i ended up sleeping in the middle hallway, but came to a conslusion that when i was there they could all get to me. So now, i stay up all night and read fairy0tales to soothe my fears of the lamp.
and thats how i leanred the meaning of life.

One time when I was maybe 3 or 4 years old, my mom was putting away some clothes in her closet. A support on one of the shelves broke, sending the shelf and its contents crashing to the floor. Angry and annoyed, my mom started muttering, "Dammit! Dammit! Dammit!"
I assumed that she was referring to the closet.
The next day, I asked, "Hey, Mom, can I put the damners in the dammit?" (If a closet was a dammit, clothes must be damners!) After she recovered from her surprise at what had just come out of her young daughter's mouth, she and my dad had a good laugh.

Living in San Diego when I was young, there were our share of earthquakes. When I was in bed for the night and a earthquake hit, it would naturely cause the bed to jump, bump and slide around. I was convenced it was my sister under the bed causing the problem. So I would start yelling for my mom and dad to come and get her so she would get in trouble.

i used to believe a tiny man lived inside the hairdryer b/c when i was done using it i could hear a tiny clicking noise and i thought it was the tiny man hitting some metal with a hammer.

I used to believe that the grim reaper and his army of the dead entered my house at night and were there to take another soul (that soul being me!!!) With that belief I always hid under my covers hoping that they wouldn't see me!

In the home I lived in as a kid we had a second storage area in the basement. There was no door in the door frame and our furnace was down there. All I ever saw was the red light from the furnace and my parents told me it was santa's eye and that it watched me. So every time I went in the basement I'd run and jump passed the open doorframe so santa couldn't see me

When I was younger, I thought the shower water was pumped from the drain back up into the shower head, so I was afraid that if I peed in the shower, it would come raining back down on me and that grossed me out. Of course, I found it wasn't true, but even still, I won't pee in the shower.

You know those scrubbing bubble commercials where the bubbles came out of the bottle and cleaned the bathtub? As a kid, I would pour that stuff in the tub and sit and wait for those bubbles to come out and clean everything.

I used to believe…

That there was a zombie living behind the bathtub in the upstairs bathroom.

When i was little at my house, outside the bathroom was kind of a crack where the carpet and the tile met. After i went 2 the bathroom as the toilet was flushing i had to jump over the crack. If my foot touched it or i didnt make it across in time i really beleived something bad would happen.I took it really seriously and truly beleived it.My mom would always look concerned when she saw me runnin out of the bathroom(LOL).

In my grandma`s house, there was a closet with a big boiler tank thing in it and when it was heating up, it made big gurgling noises. When I was small, my cousin told me that it was The Closet Of No Return and there was a big hungry monster ready to eat me inside, which explained the gurgling noises.

when i was little i thought that there were always robbers in my basement so i would always yell that i was like a black belt in karate to try and scare them away

When i was little i would sleep over at my grandparents house sometimes. I would always sleep on the hid-a-bed or whatever. Anyways I would always get scared and want to go and sleep in their bed. To get to their room I had to go down a long hallway. For some reason I thought for the longest time that a huge buffalo was going to charge me from behind if i didn't run as fast as i could down that hallway.

In my parents house growing up there was a mouse hole in the wall beside the stairs. I always skipped the step that the hole was on because I thought that if I stepped on it a long, ugly white scabby hand would come out of the hole and grab my ankle.

I still always skip that step out of habit....
