ok, after taking a bath, when you take the drain plug out, it makes that wierd noise, right? so my little sister and I were sure it was a crocodile that lived under our bath. i'm not sure why, i doesn't even sound like a crocodile, but it never really bothered us.

When I was young I used to try to drink the water in the bath tub and my mom told me it was made of smushed up flies. I have been waiting for a fly to come out of the faucet ever since... (I am 33)

Starting when I was six, I believed that if I didn't get to the sinks by the time the toilet was done flushing something really bad would happen to me(I dont' know what, just something). I also believed that if I left a book or magazine in front of the toilet a trapdoor would open and that my book or magazine would drop through. I don't know where this came from, but I believed it until I was 10.

I used to believe that brown paper towels or toilet paper was "whole grain". I walked into a bathroom one day and said to nobody in particular (out loud, of course), "Wow! Whole-grain toilet paper! How fancy!"

I used to think that if you flushed the toilet and then turned on the tap, the sewage water would come out of the tap.

After I saw Nightmare in Elm Street I used to think Freddy Krueger was hiding in our shower. Every time I went to the bathroom I had to check behind the shower curtain first.

After I saw Titanic, I had a fear of water since all the dead people were in it. When I got home that night to take a shower, I was afraid that the actualy Titanic would come bursting through the pipes, and all the dead people with it! And when I went to the bathroom I was afraid that a dead person would come through the toilet to try to get me while I was doing my business

I was always scared of the noise that the bath drain made when the water was draining out and believed that it would suck anyone in the room into the drain so I would run out of the bathroom screaming as soon as the plug was removed! I also would never like to be in the bath when the tap was on filling it up, and hated when there were bath toys floating in the water...i was a weird child

Do you remember that one movie Three Men and a Baby, and in the backround of the scene with the old lady seeing the baby, and the little boy is in the drapes? Well, i used to believe that he would be in my shower curtains! And I had white drapes in my room too! That scared themost at night!!! Haha!

I used to believe that bad guys could come up through the toilet. This came from speculation by my neighbor friend. Until I was about seven I would flush the toilet and then run out of the bathroom as fast as I could because flushing let them know you were there!

I used to believe, that when I went to the bathroom at night, if I didn't get back to bed before the toilet stopped flushing, a monster would come out and kidnap me.

I used to believe that my toilet used to contain rats and snakes. I used to be so terrified, I would take a picture of the toilet without looking at it, than looking at the picture to make sure there were no snakes or rats. But now, I like to pretend I'm peeing on the snake or pooping on a rat... but as i did so in my dream, it bit me, and i didnt pee or poop for a week. But now I'm good and I don't have the fear anymore :D

When I was a little kid, I was scared to sit on the toilet because I thought there was a monster inside the toilet that was going to bite me, and I was also scared of the smaller potty that lights up for the same reason. I kept wearing pull-ups until I became old enough to wear underwear.

the first time i started showering since since i graduated fromt he bath which usually i usually share with my brother, i had to have my mother stand in the bathroom with me while i showered. i was absulutely terrified that gremlins were standing on each other's shoulders and peeking through the small hexagonal window in the corner of the stall
