I believed that if I was sitting on the toilet while it flushed it would suck me down and I would have to live in the sewer.

One hot summer's day my dad asked me if I'd make him a water, but to make sure the water was cold he told me to 'let the tap run'. Seeing as the tap was a stationary fitting I of course found this very confusing...

I used to believe that the drain in the tub would swallow me up with the water - as such, I always leapt out just before the water ran out, sometimes streaming water all over a surprised parent who had no idea why I was jumping out like a frightened frog!

I used to believe that the water closet was an actual closet. Out in the hallway of our house their was a little door that showed pipes and stuff which was exactly aligned with the bath tub.

I used to think that the Vacuum Cleaner was pronounced "BATHROOM CLEANER". This was re-inforced by the fact that my Mom kept it behind the door in the Bathroom.

I used to believe that there was a whole world inside the spec of light shining from the bathroom light on the chain of the plug in the bath. I used to look into the world carefully, so I didn't block the light.

I used to belive that when you sat on the toilet that a snake would come up and bite you in the butt. We had a sewer tank, so that might of been true?!

I always made sure the plug was in the tub real good when I took a bath because I thought that a crab would come up and pinch me with its pinchers.

My favorite show when I was little was 'REN n STIMPY' Well... they had this show where an OX would come out of the toilet for like Christmas time or something like that. I used to think it was sooo weird and I was also afraid of the little OX thing. So whenever I would go to the bathroom and right when I was done I would wash my hands and flush the toilet and run out cause I was scared the OX was gunna get me!! :(

Once when I was really young I had a shower with my cousin. Well, the pipe had sort of broken that leads from the shower box to the head, and the head sort of started to 'wiggle' around and from then on I was scared of showers. I was cured of this fear a few years ago.

We have a bathtub that has a drain on the wall that has "wolverine" writen on the top of it. It has 2 bolts on the left and right side that looked like squinting eyes, and a nozzle in the middle that you pull down to drain the water. When I was 3-7 I thought that the thing was a wolverine, but it was sleeping, and if the water got too high, he would jump out of the wall and eat me. It scared the heck out of me when the water did get that high a couple times. I jumped out of the water and ran out of the room as fast as I could.

I used to believe that the handles of toothbrushes were made out of hippo teeth. I know this originated in Kindergarten, but I don't know how.

When I was young I used to think that everytime I went to the bathroom at night there was a little girl sitting in the bathtub. So every time I used the bathroom at night I would pull back the shower curtains to make sure no-one was there. I am now 19 and I still do that at night. (Pretty Pathetic Huh?)

When i was little my dad told me that there were sharks in the drain of the tub, so i was always terrified to pull the plug before i got out of the tub, i really thought sharks would come up and eat me like on jaws.
