I used to believe that the monsters from Monsters Inc never came to my house because my wardrobe had moving doors, so they could not open it as they did in the film.

When I was small I slept in a tiny room next to the attic. The only thing between me and the attic was a poorly fitting door and a curtain covering my closet. During the summer my father would open the windows in the attic and, as a result, the wind would blow the curtain out into my room. I was sure it was a ghost and was terrified. When my father explained it all to me, I still wasn't sure, so I begged him not to open the attic windows anymore.

I was about 9 years old when I saw chunky in my doll house one night when I couldn't sleep. I had the nightlight on and I saw him there watching me sleep. I was so terrified and i couldn't move. I kept trying to make myself believe it was just my imagination but it was so clear. I starred at chucky so long I remembered what he looked like. It took all my courage to run out of my room. I never told anyone In fear of being made fun of. One night my best friend slept over and she said she saw it in the closet just watching us sleep. She never told me until the second time she saw it sitting at the end of my bed watching us sleep again. She said, "I knew i wasn't crazy because It was the second time I saw It". We were both terrified when we found out that we had seen it. To this day I wonder what it was, I thought chucky was a fake movie I'd never been scared of a doll. I know what I saw..

When I was younger, I had a room that shared a thin wall with my parents. I was about 4 to 6 years old, I heard noises coming from my closet and I naively thought it was a monster. I yelled," Stop you monster! I hate you!" And I threw my spare pillow at the door and fell asleep. It turns out, my mom was just on the other side trying to find her shoes.

I used to think my closet was a gateway to another dimension, and I pretended it was. I watched a lot of TV shows with time-travel as a theme so I imagine that's why. I also thought there were monsters in there.

I used to believe that sleeveless shirts were called I shirts instead of T shirts because the sleeves of T shirts made the T and the lack of sleeves made an I.

I believe that when I sleep toys come alive.I try to catch them by telling my sister that I was coming downstairs to play with her,and carefully I try to peep through the keyhole.I still believe that and I am scared because I don't really play with them and they might come against me.So I suggest to put a camera when they are not looking and see if they are real or not.

When I was really little, like 4-5, I thought that any word that ended in an -ie sound was a nickname for a longer word. So when I heard 'panties' I thought for sure that had to be short for something, and I assumed it was 'pantanes.' I think I called underwear 'pantanes' for years! LOL

I used to think that if I got stuck or locked in a closet or sat in there with the door closed, that no air could come into the closet and so I would slowly suffocate to death. It wasn't until I was 10 and saw an episode of Jimmy Neutron when Jimmy got locked in a closet and told his friends "he had plenty of air" that I knew closets weren't airtight!
