I used to believe that if I walk into a closet, I would fall into Wonderland.

When I was probably about 5-6 years old. My brother and sister, and I would play in the closet. It was a small closet, so we were able to climb the walls. So, we would climb up to the top, and sit on the shelf. Well, there was a big, rectangular, crack in the wall. We thought that inside the wall, was a secret playhouse. We would take a butterknife and try to open it up. So, we asked my dad about it, and he told us what it really was..which kind of crushed our dreams.

When i was little i used to believe that the boogie man lived in my closet, but when i went into my closet, he quickly went under my bed, so one day i decided to mix a bunch of nasty crap in a dish a feed it to him, so i put it on my dresser, hid in my closet and called for him to go and eat it. without me knowing, my sister was listening and took it out of my room so i would think he ate it. when i came out of the closet i noticed it was gone and i thought i defeated the boogie man and was all proud until my sister finally told me she did it. which was a long time after

Several years ago, my older sis and I decided to make up a story to tell to our younger sister. Our little sis had recently gotten chicken pox and what is now a round scar on the left of her forehead was a chicken pock that was healing at the time; oozing and such. So we told our gullible little sis that her brains were leaking out out of the hole, and that she would have to get a new brain. When she questioned us, we went on to tell her that the same thing had happened to Maw Maw (Dad's mom), and that if we went into the hall closet in her house, we'd find an old brain that had once belonged to Maw Maw... our sis had been almost inclined to believe us before that, but she was too smart to believe that Maw Maw was hoarding an old brain in her closet!

One night when I was about six I snuck a peak into my sisters room when she was having a sleepover. Shes a bout 5 years older at the time. So i looked in and i saw a scene from the movie they were watching. They were watching a chuckie movie (which i do not know which one it was to this day) and the scene was when he jumped out of the clothes in the closet and beat the woman to death with a bat. I got over that fear about one year ago. I'm 12. :(

I used to believe that during thunderstorms the boogieman was in my closet. For some reason I had a mental image of him looking like a mummy, wrapped in bandages. No wonder I slept with my mom as a kid.

I used to believe there was a monster living in my bedroom closet. At night, if the door was opened, I thought I could see him looking at me, just waiting until I fell asleep to come get me. Funny that he also looked like Frankenstein's monster!

when i was little i was scared of goingto sleep because there was a monster in my closet that would eat me when i went to sleep. i kept on hearing strange noises coming from my closet and one time when it was leaking, i was lying awake in my room at 12:00pm and because it was so dark the leaking looked red and there was this weird red puddle oozing out of my closet, i was terrifieyed

When I was 5, I used to believe that monsters would eat me if I ever opened my closet, now whenever I go past my closet I look at the lock on it to see if my closet is locked, and then if it is, I run away quick! It still haunts me today, if I think of my closet!

I was about 9 years old when I saw chunky in my doll house one night when I couldn't sleep. I had the nightlight on and I saw him there watching me sleep. I was so terrified and i couldn't move. I kept trying to make myself believe it was just my imagination but it was so clear. I starred at chucky so long I remembered what he looked like. It took all my courage to run out of my room. I never told anyone In fear of being made fun of. One night my best friend slept over and she said she saw it in the closet just watching us sleep. She never told me until the second time she saw it sitting at the end of my bed watching us sleep again. She said, "I knew i wasn't crazy because It was the second time I saw It". We were both terrified when we found out that we had seen it. To this day I wonder what it was, I thought chucky was a fake movie I'd never been scared of a doll. I know what I saw..
