I used to think a monster lived under my bed. When I needed to get up I would stand on my bed and jump to the other side of the room so that the monster couldn't grab my ankle and pull me under.

When I was little, I used to have to stand in my doorway to turn off the light, and as soon as the light was off, I would leap into bed. Everyone knows that if you don't do that, something under your bed would grab your legs! After you jump into bed, you have to cover up really really quick!

I used to believe that if you let your arm or foot dangle off the bed at night that someone (a monster or the devil) would come and grab you at night. To this day, I still have to have my feet and hands on the bed!

I thought there were monsters under my bed that would reach out and grab me if my legs came in range, so I used to turn off my light, get a running start & take a flying leap to land on the bed so they couldn't get me.

I used to run from the door of my bedroom and jump on my bed and then to leave my room I would stand on the bed and jump from the bed to the door because I thought that the monster under the bed would grab my feet and pull me under.

When I was little, at night when I was in bed, I was afraid to drape a body part over the edge of my bed. I was afraid that something scary would reach out and grab me.

I used to believe when I was young that there was always something under my bed that would grab you and pull you under if any of my body parts hung over the side of the bed!! Needless to say I didn't sleep much as a child. And to this day I still make sure nothing hangs over the side of the bed once the lights go out!!!!

I used to believe that there was a monster under my bed. When i went to sleep i would turn on my lamp by my bed, close the door and turn of my ceiling light, and jump to my bed and hide under the covers. I'm still a little paranoid.
